We recently booked flights with you on WestJet, Winnipeg - Toronto- New York on Feb. **, ****, returning NY - Tor - Wpg on March *. When we checked in on Feb. **, the WestJet ticket agent told us that our flight from Toronto to New York had been cancelled due to a snowstorm in NY, so they were rerouting us to Mtl. where we would take a Delta flight to NY. I asked her why it was okay for us to fly in from Mtl. but not Toronto, she said they just try to reduce the number of flights. Our flight from Mtl. got cancelled last minute so we had to get a hotel there that night. Coming back, our flight was over an hour late going out of NY causing us to miss our connecting flight in Toronto, our luggage made it on plane but they said we were too late to board. So we had to get another hotel that night. We want to put in a travel interruption claim to recoup some expenses but they need proof that the one flight was cancelled and second flight they were late getting us to. I talked to WestJet and they said we have to go through you. Our itinerary * was *************. Please email us the necessary information that is needed as proof. Thank you.
