Less than two years ago I purchased a Eureka Vacuum Model AS****. I live on a fixed income so anything over $** is a major purchase. I just moved into a * bedroom two bath manufactured home with wall to wall carpet. I needed a vacuum that would last. I have two large dogs that do shed so I needed a vacuum that could handle pet hair. I took care of this vacuum knowing it would be a while if ever, I could afford another one. Two days ago I turned the vacuum on and two minutes later it quit, just turned off. I thought I blew a circuit breaker, but no. I plugged the vacuum into several other outlets and nothing. I bought the Eureka brand because growing up, it was a name you could trust when it came to vacuums. I didn't vacuum up anything wet, or water, nothing was clogged and there was no smoke or smell, just nothing. If I knew your product would only last a year or two I would have bought something else. Whatever happened to things being reliable and lasting? Like I said earlier, I live on a fixed income due to a disability I have related to a work injury. I have two dogs and small bird rescue. I thought I might have sucked up some bird seed, but all of the seed is swept up and never vacuumed. I have three types of carpet in my place, contoured, shag, and low indoor-outdoor carpet. I vacuum twice a week and clean the filters after each use. I am truly disappointed in your product. If I could afford to I would ship it back to your company in a garbage bag because that is where it belongs now. As far as how to resolve this issue, that is hard to say. I no longer have the receipt and I know the warranty has expired. Just prove to me Eureka is a good brand and values their customers
