Hi, I ordered an item from Etsy recently (this is the order number: ***********. I also have a photo of the transaction, if necessary). I paid immediately, but the next day, the seller told me that the payment was *pending“. So I contacted my bank right away and they told me that my credit card had been blocked, but since I approved the payment, they unblocked it and said that the charge would have to be made again and should then go through. I told this to the seller immediately and asked her to charge me again, but she said that she could not do anything and that if she did not get payment by tomorrow, December **, she would cancel the order. In response, I told her that I think that Etsy would have to attempt to charge my card again, but that I cannot open a case in order to ask Etsy to help before January *nd, which is the earliest date that I saw was noted to open a case on the order (I have a photo of this too). I asked the seller to wait until I can get help at Etsy to make the charge again after January *. In response to this, she has cancelled the order today (Dec. **). I feel this is very unfair and poor treatment, and I would like to ask Etsy to help but I do not know how to contact them. I would like to ask Etsy to help so that the seller agrees to sell me the item for the same price which we agreed the first time and then to make the charge again. It is not my fault that the card was blocked for security reasons and I could not reach Etsy to ask to repeat the charge. If the seller does not agree to trying again, I would like to document all this in a review about her shop.**Now I saw that the seller reposted the item, and I tried to buy it again, but the system is telling me that my account is blocked. Now since the seller cancelled the order, I cannot open a case at all, and I cannot contact Etsy to ask why my account is blocked. **This is all very uncalled for.
