Help with my Etihad Airways issue

*th June ******Dear Sir*Madam**Hello, my name is Raxitkumar Shah and I travelled by Etihad Airways EY *** from New York (John F. Kennedy) to Abu Dhabi on **st May **** which arrived at Abu Dhabi on *st June at **.** a.m. My booking reference is U**D**.*ETIHAD BOOKING REF: DYHHTK**From there onwards, I travelled to Ahmedabad (India) on Flight No. EY *** on *st June ****. After arriving at my home when I opened my baggage, I found a standard letter about notice of baggage security inspection which I believe you must have sent to at those whose good have been confiscated.**This letter does not specifically mention about my confiscated items - Camera Type DSLR of CANON make and scatting overboard and these items have been confiscated without my knowledge and without any intimation to me.**I was at Abu Dhabi Airport from **.** a.m. to *.** p.m. which is almost * hrs. and ** minutes. While I was at Airport for such a long time, and being a regular passenger, I should have been intimated about confiscation of these items in order to allow me to give substantial proof and explanation but I was not given this facility which is contrary to international regulations. I had given my cell number at the time of booking ,but no one from Etihad or abu dhabi airport security contact me.**As far as my knowledge goes these two items are not subject to confiscation – either by US Authority or by Abu Dhabi Authority, then why these two items were taken away without my permission and knowledge is simply not unfathomable.**I would sincerely request the concerned authority to review the case and return my goods or provide me justifiable reasons for doing so.**As a regular Etihad passenger, it is extremely difficult for me to understand as to why these two things have been taken away from my baggage which was entrusted to you and has now broken my trust in Etihad Airways.**I may even be tempted to inform my friends, relatives, colleagues and office staff to be very careful before flying on Etihad Airways and before passing through Abu Dhabi Airport where things are being taken away without information and knowledge of passengers.**I have a tremendous trust in Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Security Authority and this trust can be re-deposited if the goods which have been arbitrarily confiscated are returned to me as these goods were brought by me for my beloved children for their use.**I hope that the wiser counsel will prevail and justice would be done.**Yours faithfully
