Hello, I am a customer who signed up for the [redacted] internet (ADSL) service from Ethio-Telecom in the Hawassa Region. After completing all the necessary steps, I was informed that there is no internet line available in my neighborhood. I have previously used this service at the same location and telecommunication branch four to five years ago, but I had to cancel it due to service issues. Now, upon resubscribing, I am being told there is no line in my area. Despite my efforts to contact the technical office and supervisors, I have only received empty promises of potential re-habitations in the area. I am located just [redacted] meters away from the Telecommunication site. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your response. Thank you, Abenezer H.

Ethio Telecom, you have requested customers to register their SIM card profiles, and I understand the importance of this request. While we respect your decision, the lack of respect shown to us, the customers who support your business, is disheartening. During my visit to the Posta Bet office, I encountered a significant queue with only one staff member assisting. Arriving at 8:30, I found myself behind approximately 30 people, while your employee arrived at 8:45. After waiting for two hours, I had to leave due to prior commitments. It is concerning that for such a critical process impacting numerous individuals, the necessary arrangements were not in place. Customers are forced to take time off work just to endure extended wait times at your premises. This situation is indeed disappointing and reflects a lack of consideration.

Ethio Telecom, you are requesting all of us to register our SIM card profiles, and I believe this is for a valid reason. While I respect your decision, it seems there is a lack of respect for us, the paying customers. I visited your office at Posta Bet and encountered a large queue with only one person in charge. I arrived at *:** and was number ** in line, but your employee showed up at *:**. After waiting for two hours, I had to leave as I had other commitments. The lack of preparation for such a significant action, involving hundreds or thousands of people, is evident. Customers are inconvenienced by having to take time off work to spend hours waiting outside your offices. It would be beneficial to assign more employees to expedite the SIM card registration process and consider online registration to save time. I hope to see a practical solution soon instead of just empty promises.
