I purchased a 4-pack of [redacted] batteries in Covington, Louisiana on April 20, [redacted]. I used one in a bedside lamp for about 2 weeks, then tried it in my hunting scope with no success. All three batteries are now dead, even the one from the lamp. I suspect they were either faulty or damaged before purchase, maybe from Walmart. I would like a replacement pack of 4 of the [redacted] batteries shipped to Charles S. at [redacted] Lake Emma Cove Drive, Lake Mary, Florida [redacted]. I've noticed a decline in the quality of your brand - every Energizer battery I buy seems weak and short-lived. This includes various flat batteries and the D-size ones, which is concerning as I rely on them for my weather radio and flashlight during hurricane season. If this issue persists, I will switch to Duracell. Nonetheless, I am willing to give your brand one more chance, as it may not necessarily be your fault but a result of selling them at Walmart.

Subject: Defective Energizer Batteries - Case #[redacted]61 Dear Mr. Klein, I hope this message finds you well. Recently, I encountered a frustrating issue with a 20-pack of Energizer Max AAA Alkaline batteries I purchased. Despite the batteries having an expiration date of 03-[redacted], ten of them failed prematurely, and some lost power quickly. Even after following the required steps outlined by your India Customer Service Department, I am dismayed by the additional inconveniences imposed on me to obtain replacements. Having to provide detailed photos of the battery packaging, receipts, manufacturing codes, and more feels excessive for a straightforward warranty claim. This arduous process has left me feeling disheartened as a consumer. The lack of accessible avenues to address product concerns directly with company executives only exacerbates this frustration. As a loyal customer, I anticipated a smoother resolution process for a product issue as basic as this. I sincerely hope that this feedback highlights the need for streamlining customer service procedures and improving communication channels for dissatisfied customers like myself. I appreciate your attention to this matter and eagerly await a more efficient and customer-friendly resolution process in the future. Warm regards, W L Rose

In the last 30 days, I've experienced three incidents where Energizer batteries have leaked. I can't recall the first application, and I disposed of that one. However, the remaining two were in a Bell+ Howell lantern in use for about ten minutes when I heard a popping noise beneath it. Investigating, I found that it was the batteries causing the sound. Upon removal, the noise persisted. One battery had a swollen bottom that leaked, while the other showed swelling on the negative side. I placed them under a ceramic tile, which stopped the noise. The following day, I brought them indoors, and later that night, one battery resumed making the same sound.

I bought an 8-pack of Energizer Max AA batteries from Walmart, but they won't accept a return even though one battery is corroding. I opened the pack on 11-18-19 and found the issue when I tested them. The batteries show an expiration date of 12-[redacted] and are meant to last 10 years if stored properly. I bought them 2 years ago in preparation for a hurricane. I keep all my batteries in a dry, cool, climate-controlled closet at 74°F due to living in Florida and using a CPAP Mask while sleeping. I'm mainly seeking a reimbursement as I usually end up going back to Duracell since Energizer batteries don't seem to last as long or perform as well in my experience. I anticipate your response and appreciate the assistance you can offer. Thank you, L.S.

I've had a disappointing experience with other brands of rechargeable AAA batteries, so I decided to check the charge status of my new pack of four Energizer batteries. Three of them appeared to be nearly fully charged, but one has been on the charger for an hour and is still only at 98%. I was expecting all four batteries in the package to be similar in charge. I'm concerned that one of the batteries might fail before the others. Thank you, Michael P.S. Barcode: [redacted]08

I am facing an issue with my 24-volt Battery Bank consisting of 2 GEL 12-volt Batteries connected in Series. When discharging, the voltage quickly drops from 25.0 to 23.4, and continues to decrease until I have to turn it off to prevent my 24-volt inverter from making noise. Upon checking the batteries after turning off the inverter, I found one reading 12.6 volts and the other 12.0 volts. It seems like one battery is not charging efficiently. I need advice on how to address this problem and ensure both batteries charge and discharge evenly for optimal performance.

I purchased a 12-pack of your lithium AA batteries around six weeks ago. I put six of the batteries in a flashlight for my sister, and after only four days of sporadic use, two of them stopped working. I tested them with my battery tester, and 10 are showing as good, one needs replacing, and one is very weak. Could you please replace these two batteries for me free of charge? I would really appreciate it. You can send them to me at [redacted] Hibiscus Drive, Maumelle, AR [redacted]. Thank you. Sincerely, Jerry Manning

I installed Energizer ten-year Lithium batteries in four smoke detectors at home less than three years ago. Recently, one started beeping and had to be replaced. I understand the ten-year time frame typically refers to "storage," but since the battery was in a smoke detector, it seems similar to storage to me. The date on the battery reads [redacted] on the bottom and 12-[redacted] on the side. I'm puzzled as to why it failed in under three years. Replacing the battery isn't easy for me as my smoke detectors are 17 feet high, and at 75 years old, climbing a ladder poses risks. I chose Lithium batteries to reduce the need for climbing. If you're interested in analyzing the battery to understand why it failed prematurely, I can send it to you. Your insights would be valued.

I used AA Energizer Max batteries in a remote control car, and the remote overheated. Upon inspection, one of the batteries had melted, and when I removed it, it was so hot that it exploded shortly after. The batteries were recently purchased. Additionally, I tried using one of the batteries in my grandson's alarm clock, but it didn't work. Substituting with different batteries made the clock function, indicating an issue with the Energizer batteries. I fear that if my 5-year-old grandson had continued playing with his remote control truck, it could have exploded in his hands, causing harm. I have the original battery packaging for reference.

Good evening, I'm Stacey. I have a concern about your company regarding the battery packs I've been purchasing over the last two years. I consistently buy AAA and AA batteries for various devices, but they are only lasting about 3 months each. I'm disappointed that the 10-year battery life claim doesn't align with my experience. Given the cost of your batteries, I expected better performance. I've discussed this with a co-worker and my aunt, and they're also facing similar issues. I hope you can address this and provide a solution. Thank you.

I recently bought two different packages of Energizer CR2032 lithium batteries from two separate retailers. When I tested these batteries, they appeared nearly depleted. As a result, the garage door remote I inserted them into did not function as expected. One package contained 4 batteries with the UPC 39[redacted]7, while the other had 2 batteries with the UPC 39[redacted]1. I purchased the 4-count package at Walmart in Huntington, IN, and the 2-count package at a Dollar General store in Columbia City, IN. This experience has made me question the reliability of the Energizer brand, which is quite surprising.

Around three days ago, I purchased a twelve-pack of Energizer AA batteries to replace the one in a clock that survived a house fire which took my mother's life. This clock held sentimental value as one of my last memories of her. Two days after changing the battery, the clock stopped working. Suspecting a faulty battery, I opened the clock to discover the battery had leaked, damage was irreversible. The clock, valued at $[redacted], was not just an object to me but a memory of my late mother. I am requesting $[redacted] compensation for the damages caused by Energizer's batteries. Thank you, Abrar.

Approximately three days ago, I purchased a 12-pack of Energizer AA-size batteries to replace the one inside a clock that miraculously survived a house fire tragically claiming my mother's life. The clock held significant sentimental value to me as one of my last memories of her. Just two days after replacing the battery, the clock suddenly stopped working. Suspecting a faulty battery, I went to inspect, only to discover a leak that had spread white powdery substance, damaging the clock irreversibly. The clock, valued at $[redacted], held immense sentimental importance beyond its monetary worth. I am seeking compensation to cover the cost of the clock and the sentimental value it represented. Sincerely, Abrar

I have been using Energizer 9-volt batteries for the past 10 to 12 years in my Nady wireless microphones with 5 different frequencies. Recently, I bought Energizer Max 9-volt batteries, but they were too thick to close the battery cover on the microphones. I also tried Rayovac, Eveready, Sunbeam, and other brands, but none fit. All batteries have the size format #[redacted] 6LF22. The old Energizer batteries I used to have were thinner than the new ones. Unfortunately, I threw them away before noting the size format. I wonder if there has been a change in size and if the smaller size is still available for purchase. I bought a stock of the old batteries about a year ago, and now I can't use my microphones due to the battery cover issue. Any information on where to find the smaller size batteries would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help in advance, so I can start using my microphones again promptly. - Reggie M.

I recently purchased 12 of your Ultimate Lithium AA batteries for my LED flashlights. However, I am disappointed as they do not last long even after being recharged with a lithium recharger. In contrast, I have had good experiences with your rechargeable AA batteries for the same usage. As a representative for Momar Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia, I sell products to industries that use batteries in timers. I always swap out customers' timer batteries with Energizer batteries. Given the cost of the lithium batteries, I kindly request a replacement of 12 Energizer rechargeable AA batteries in exchange. Robert B. [redacted] Airway Drive, Lewiston, Idaho, [redacted].

I am experiencing an ongoing issue with two Energizer Battery Chargers that I bought some time ago: The MODEL CHVC4E [Basic] charger appears to be working fine with both 1,300mAh and 2,300mAh rechargeable batteries. However, the MODEL CHVCM4DE [VALUE] charger is charging 1,300mAh batteries without any issues, but when I try to charge 2,300mAh batteries, it blinks red. I have reached out for support via phone and spoke with two helpful Customer Service Representatives, but the problem persists. I am unsure if I need to purchase a new VALUE Charger. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, M.G. Kuhtmann

I have an Energizer rechargeable flashlight that I've had for about a year. Recently, I've encountered an issue where the battery does not illuminate when the button is pressed. Even after charging it for over 12 hours and seeing the green light indicating a full charge, it still won't light up. Interestingly, I noticed that the light does work when directly plugged into the charging cord, but not otherwise. The flashlight hasn't been damaged, so I'm unsure why it's no longer lighting up. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
