If you lost your luggage you should go to guest services in the airport and report it immediately. Once you do that you can submit a claim there. They will then give you a claim number. You will need that for future reference.

I came into Sydney from Dubai this morning. I am sick and inadvertently took the wrong bag. I got a call from baggage services and they quoted $** for me to get a courier to bring my bag and collect the other bag. I am too sick to travel back to the airport. I have hard no more and Ome poor person still hasn’t got their bag back and not have I. I called Emirates and they said they would email someone about it. I need to escalate this please. I was given no reference number. My bag number is EK******.
