If you are already at the airport when your flight is delayed, it's recommended that you go directly to a Delta customer service desk before calling. If a delay is announced before you arrive at the airport, it's a better option to call at that point.
The issue in GetHuman-szb's own words
Booking ref: FGT*FB, Atlanta to Kolkata *th Dec Departure. My first leg is to New York with Jetblue. Flight from ATL-JFK was scheduled at **:** but now Jetblue is delaying departure from ATL by ** minutes. Not sure the timing is still oscillating it could be even more. I have next leg JFK to DXB departing at **:**. I am worried whether I will have enough time in hand to make to the connecting flight EK*** as landing at JFK I will need time to go over the security check once more, travel between terminals. Wanted to keep Emirates informed about this delay. So far I have been said that airline will take the responsibility in any such case of disruption in the itinerary. *Looking forward to your cooperation and help. *Thanks*Sharbani
