My elderly parents purchased a Kenmore Wall Oven from Sears two years ago. Unfortunately, on January 15th, the oven's glass shattered when my mom opened it due to a loose screw. Despite being out of warranty, we ordered Electrolux part [redacted]10 to fix it, but it was incorrectly manufactured with holes in the wrong places. Several replacements from SearsPartsDirect and frigidaireapplianceparts.com have also been incorrect. After 4.5 months without an oven, my parents shouldn’t have to buy a new one for a solution. I need assistance in obtaining a door assembly with the correct hole placement to fix this issue for them.

I have two Electrolux EWDW6505GBO dishwashers. I ordered replacement fold-down lower rack fences, part number A[redacted]3, which replaces part number [redacted]. The replacement part has a couple of issues: the tines are straight and fewer in number compared to the original, and the tines and bottom bar are thinner, causing them not to lock into the fence Brackets (P/N [redacted]). Customer Services couldn't help, so I'm seeking technical or engineering assistance to rectify the problem. I aim to purchase eight of the correct parts. My previous order number was [redacted] [redacted] 56, and it was refunded due to the misfit. -SW

Salve. Desidero esprimere il mio disappunto per aver acquistato una lavatrice AEG. Solitamente ho optato per modelli più economici senza problemi, ma questa volta ho voluto investire in un prodotto di fascia alta. Purtroppo, la lavatrice ha avuto problemi solo dopo pochi mesi di utilizzo, e ora, anche se è in garanzia, la scheda elettronica si è rotta. Con quattro bambini in famiglia, il disagio è enorme. Sono deluso dalla lunga attesa per il tecnico AEG e per il ricambio necessario. Non riesco a capire perché ci vogliano così tanto tempo, considerando che i miei acquisti in Germania arrivano solitamente in 3-4 giorni. Mi sembra una mancanza di efficienza da parte del servizio. I am unsure whom to contact regarding a complaint about a vacuum I received as a gift from your company. While vacuuming last night, the machine started shaking and emitting a burning smell. Upon inspection, I found the beater bar severely clogged with hair and debris, causing it to malfunction. After cleaning it, I discovered the end bracket of the bar had melted and broken, rendering the vacuum unusable. This experience has been disappointing as your products are known for their quality. I am surprised that a high-end vacuum would encounter such issues. Is this a common problem with your vacuums? How can I obtain a replacement end piece or bar to repair the machine? I am considering filing a complaint and would like to know the appropriate channels to address this issue.

I received a vacuum cleaner as a gift and while using it last night, I encountered a problem. The vacuum started shaking, there was a burning smell, and upon inspection, I found the beater bar was completely clogged. I bought 4 Frigidaire Gallery appliances in June [redacted]. All are working well except the refrigerator. Technicians have serviced it once a year, but different issues keep arising. Customer service only has records of 2 calls, claiming the first year doesn't count. Now, I'm told I need a new compressor, which seems like blowing an engine in a car. The Lemon Guarantee in the contract seems to favor Electrolux, not the consumer. The service supervisor said they must abide by "my" contract, but it's actually their contract. I believe I should be compensated with a new refrigerator since having breakdowns in the first year and then a compressor failure is unacceptable. I hope to hear from someone with decision-making authority in your organization soon. Frank P. Hello, I purchased one of your front-load washers, model EWFLS70JIWO, along with the matching dryer and bases in September [redacted]. I paid over $[redacted] for each, more than they cost now. Unfortunately, I had to use the extended warranty due to leaks from the bottom of the washer door, which also damaged the stainless steel ring around the door window. The washer also had issues leaving too much water in the clothes and the steam not working. The repairman explained the water retention as typical for front loaders. Despite fixing the gasket, the washer now leaks water from different places, saturates clothes excessively, and grows mold in unreachable areas. After 7 years of this defective product, I am deeply dissatisfied. Electrolux, please improve your product quality. Never again, Cathy McDonald.

I received her number for information about a potential Bahamas vacation. During our conversation, she mentioned using FMLA paperwork to go on a cruise by having a friend pose as a doctor. This unethical behavior concerns me. I value honesty and integrity in the companies I support and will reconsider using your services due to this experience. It's important for a company's reputation to align with their values. A family friend gave me her contact information, but I have not reached out to Miss Walker since our initial conversation. I hope that in the future, your company prioritizes integrity in its employees to avoid situations like this.

I am Kiran Parab from Tilak Nagar, Chembur-89, and I am a user of Electrolux microwave oven. Even though my product is out of warranty, I encountered issues with the button panel. After registering a complaint online, Sai Service Centre from Goregaon attended to the problem. They proposed to replace the button panel and circuit board with an estimated cost of Rs.[redacted]/- to Rs.[redacted]/-. I requested a signed inspection report before proceeding. Upon replacement, they demanded Rs. [redacted]/- without providing an invoice or report, which I declined. Mr. Asif Khan from the service center mentioned that only integrated circuit components were repaired on the mother board and not entirely replaced. After researching the prices online, I realized that the cost should not exceed Rs. [redacted]/-. Despite this, they insisted on Rs. [redacted]/ as initially quoted. This lack of transparency raises concerns about the service center's authorization and impacts Electrolux's image negatively. I hope the company can address this issue promptly.

I bought some higher quality Electrolux appliances a few years ago and have encountered major issues. First, the stove top knobs made of plastic keep melting, requiring frequent replacements. Additionally, the top window of my double oven shattered unexpectedly while in use. Although a service person replaced it, the space between the glass remains dirty. The bottom oven also has streaked windows despite minimal use. Lastly, the top oven has a prolonged preheating time. I was disappointed with the repair service's quality. My Zanussi washing machine broke down recently and luckily, it was covered by Domestic and General insurance. They sent someone out to check it and concluded it wasn't worth fixing. They organized a new machine from Electrolux. Unfortunately, the new machine broke down the very next day, leaving my laundry stuck inside. An engineer from Electrolux inspected it and confirmed it was installed correctly, but it needed to be replaced. I contacted Electrolux on December 23rd during customer service hours and was advised an engineer would need to assess it again, with the earliest availability on January 6th. Given the faulty replacement and over three weeks without a working machine, I simply want a new one promptly.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this washer and dryer. The repair technicians have visited five times for the dryer, sometimes reinstalling the same expensive parts. The washing machine is now malfunctioning. The customer service representatives I spoke with were impolite and unhelpful, discouraging me from lodging complaints. I have all the receipts to support my claims. Additionally, I received incorrect information from both women and Home Depot. Despite my husband suggesting that I sell them, as they are not fully paid for, I am adamant about keeping them. Hello Team Electrolux, I purchased a 1-ton Electrolux AC from Vijay Sales in Vadodara back in June [redacted]. We usually only use it at 27 degrees Celsius during the months of April to July. Recently, there was a gas leakage late at night with the sound of air leaking from the unit. Upon inspection, a leakage near the metallic support of the copper coil in the indoor unit was discovered. Upon further examination, it was noticed that there was a manufacturing issue near the coupling of the copper tubes where the couplings were bent, as shown in the attached image. This caused uneven gas pressure in the tube, leading to the coil's weak point near the metallic support and resulting in sudden leakage due to high pressure at that spot. I kindly ask for a proper quality check before assembling the indoor units as this manufacturing defect has rendered the coil useless, affecting the overall lifespan of the AC unit. I purchased a Frigidaire Dehumidifier in June [redacted], which worked well until January [redacted] when it stopped reducing humidity properly. Fortunately, in July [redacted] I obtained a 3-year warranty. I reached out to customer service on June 19, [redacted], and was assisted by Sam, who informed me that I qualified for a replacement unit. Following his instructions, I submitted the required information and a photo via certified mail on June 26, which was received on the same day. I am now inquiring about the status of my replacement dehumidifier. I seek confirmation that the correct documents were sent and if I still meet the requirements for the replacement unit as promised by Sam. I have not received any updates or tracking information on the process. My basement is quite humid, and the malfunctioning dehumidifier has led to mold issues. I bought a new washer in August, and it's been having issues during the spin cycle. Every time it tries to spin, it shakes violently and makes a loud knocking noise. Even with a light load, it struggles and will often stop to rebalance before trying again, extending the cycle time. I have a video of the problem, but can't attach it here. My previous washer never had this issue; this constant loud knocking sounds like it may be damaging the machine. The model is EFLW [redacted] UIW.

I am still waiting for Electrolux to return my call from October 6th. Melissa was supposed to internally escalate a warranty issue regarding my SMART Choice contract number [redacted]. I first contacted them on September 22nd for warranty service on my Electrolux fridge. Barrons Nanaimo BC has the parts and is prepared to do the repair work, but they want to charge me for labor which is covered in my extended warranty valid until 11/06/[redacted]. I need Electrolux to address this with Barrons and ensure they perform the work as outlined in my extended warranty. Thank you, Gerry Stasiuk.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the Frigidaire technician assigned to fix our faulty refrigerator. Upon arrival, he immediately became confrontational and unprofessional, even resorting to yelling and making threats. This behavior was especially alarming considering he had already missed our appointment once due to confusion over the address. Despite my attempts to de-escalate the situation, the technician continued to be aggressive and intimidating. I reached out to the dispatcher requesting to speak with a supervisor about this troubling encounter, but have yet to receive a follow-up call. Unfortunately, contacting Electrolux and Frigidaire to address this issue has proven to be a challenge, as getting through to a supervisor has been met with long waits and no resolution in sight. With several years left on my warranty, I am now apprehensive about seeking further assistance if it means dealing with the same technician, named "Jeff," in the future.
