My ** year old parents bought a Kenmore Wall Oven from Sears two years ago. When pulling the handle down to open the oven, the gl*** shattered all over my mom and the floor because the ***** holding it in backed out. This happened on January **th of this year. As the oven is out of warranty (sadly, only one year), we ordered Electrolux part ********* and waited. When it arrived, it was incorrectly manufactured. The holes for the handle needed to be in the top left and top right corners so that you could pull the handle down. Instead, the drilled holes were in the top left and bottom left corner like how a microwave would open. The door was sent back to SearsPartsDirect and a new one was sent. After waiting many weeks, the new one arrived. Of course, this one was also incorrect. We sent this back also. Two days ago, the latest door arrived from frigidaireapplianceparts.com and hopes were high only to once again be dashed. The same problem once again. Obviously, I need a door ***embly with the holes in the correct places. My parents have been without an oven now for *.* months. I don't think it's right that they should have to buy a new oven to solve this problem. Can you please help me?
I trust that Electrolux will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
