We were travelling back on the **th of October on flight EZY**** from Crete to Manchester. During our journey, a flight attendant came around with beverages and food. The flight attendant asked my wife if she would like a drink or something to eat. The flight attendant addressed my wife as a male, not recognising she was a woman. He asked "Sir, would you like a drink?". My wife corrected the flight attendant and advised him that she was a woman. The flight attendant made no attempt to apologise and instead smirked at the other flight attendant and carried on serving other passengers. The other flight attendant then informed other staff on the flight about what had happened, and then proceeded to laugh at my wife making her feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. My wife and I are very upset with the way that we were made to feel by your flight attendants, to the point where it is highly unlikely that we will be using your airline again. This is unfortunate as we have flown with easy jet many times in the past, and the flight attendants have always been professional and courteous. It's **** and we should not be subject to such discrimination. If the flight attendant had apologised straight away, then we would have accepted this. The flight attendant in question was called Steve, who had short hair, a beard and glasses. We feel that Steve should be told that this type of behaviour is not acceptable and we would like an apology also. I look forward to your response.
