I signed up for the espn* * day free trial on Jan **. I didn't care for it, so I cancelled it through the My Subscriptions feature on espn app. I went through all the steps and it said my subscription was cancelled. I got a charge for $*.** to my checking account on Jan **. I called and told the customer service rep that I cancelled my subscription, but he said it was still active. I explained that I cancelled it several days prior, but he said it wasn't cancelled and proceeded to tell me it wasn't a good idea to cancel it because of all that espn* offers. I told him I don't like having to stream events and preferred to watch them on network tv channels. He eventually cancelled my subscription. I asked him to refund my $*.** and he said he couldn't do that because of the no refund policy, but that I could use the subscription for the remainder of the period. I don't want to use it. I tried it, I didn't like it, I cancelled it within the * day free trial, and now I feel like I've been duped. I would like a refund for the $*.** that was taken from my checking account. I don't like the way this was done or the tactics used to try to get people to stay as subscribers once they've been hooked. It is a dishonest practice and I'm really upset about this.
