Dear EL AL team, I am Trevor Barry from South Africa and I have been recognized as a "star" supporter of EL AL. I believe that there may be some obstacles preventing me from connecting with Israeli entities. I have valuable gifts to offer that could benefit both Israel and countries like South Africa, UK, USA, Ireland, and France in the aviation industry, which is worth billions annually. I am eager to involve SA's Brian Joffe from Bidvest/Bidcorp and others in collaboration with Israeli businesses, as well as Ryan Air, BA, and United, to explore mutual opportunities. I understand the competitiveness of the airline industry, but being the first to engage in this venture would lead to exclusive profits, giving you an edge over global competitors. I haven't heard much from Israel or Ambassador Lior Keinen, possibly due to the bold nature of my proposals, which could be viewed as too good to be true. I believe involving individuals like my ex-brother-in-law Shane Ebley from Bidvest's Bidtrac division could be beneficial. I hope we can arrange a meeting to discuss further exciting opportunities that I have in mind. You can contact me at [redacted] Kind regards, Trevor Barry from Durban

Hello, I am part of a family of four traveling. Our current flight is scheduled to depart from Siem Reap back to Israel with a layover in Bangkok on October 30th. We are currently in Phnom Penh and looking to reschedule our flight to return home earlier, willing to pay the modification fee. Unfortunately, I am having difficulty entering my local Cambodian contact number in the online interface, making it impossible to reach out for assistance from either the airline or customer service platforms like GetHuman or El Al. Thank you, Yoav

Booking reference NGVY6G, Receipt document [redacted], Passenger name: Richard Frank Healing. We recently disputed a charge on our MasterCard that we did not recognize. CITI Bank is investigating the issue, and as a result, our MasterCard has been canceled and new credit cards have been issued. I am willing to provide my VISA card details for the trip. We do not wish to make any changes to our flights; this was a misunderstanding on our part, and we hope to rectify it promptly. Please provide guidance on how to proceed.

Hello, I am Miriam Mozias, and I am planning to travel with your airline from Israel to Portugal. Before booking my reservation, I want to confirm if I can bring my service dog with me. My service dog is trained as a Psychiatric service animal to alert the staff in case of any medical issues during the flight. I would like to clarify that a psychiatric service dog is different from an emotional support animal and falls under the category of an assistance service animal. Furthermore, I have a doctor's note recommending that my dog accompanies me on the flight. All her vaccinations are up to date, and she is in the process of obtaining her pet passport, which should be ready in a few days. I have included her medical records for your reference. Despite having flown numerous times before, my dog remains calm during flights and weighs 11kg. I kindly request confirmation regarding the acceptance of these documents for my dog to travel with me.

We are scheduled to fly on EL AL from Athens to Tel-Aviv on June 10, [redacted], departing at 10:30 am. However, before that, we will be coming from Santorini on an early morning flight, arriving in Athens at 7:55 am, with 2 1/2 hours until our Tel Aviv flight. We plan to bring only carry-on luggage to Santorini for a quick trip to see the caldera and Akritiri. After Santorini and Athens, we head to Israel. Our hotel is The Maxim Design Hotel on 86 Hayarkon St. Due to the short layover in Athens, we want to leave our one checked bag at the airport since our flights are not connected. We believe it would be faster to pick up the bag from the airport facilities between our flights. We aim to visit the EL AL office at the Athens airport on June 7 to have our bag inspected and cleared for the security checkpoint on June 10 before our flight to Tel Aviv. This way, we hope to manage our limited time efficiently. Your understanding and assistance are appreciated. - Mrs. Jeffrey Davis

I am very disappointed. I purchased a full-price economy ticket from Miami to Tel Aviv and back, using points to upgrade to a business ticket. Unfortunately, upon my return to Miami from Tel Aviv, the flight was overbooked, and I had to travel in economy despite having a confirmed business ticket due to a medical condition. I am seeking a refund in cash as I will not be traveling soon. I have yet to receive the expected email from the airline and would appreciate a prompt response. My daughter and her family also incurred costs, and our return date was changed, resulting in additional expenses for accommodations. My booking code is TKYTVP. Thank you, Miryam Vainstein

Regarding reservation number RAM6JS, I would like to refrain from confirming the modifications to my flight at the moment. My Matmid number is [redacted]78. - B. Orchard Today, I received an email notifying me of changes to our flight, extending our trip by two days. When I clicked the confirmation link in the email, it promptly confirmed the change, which was not my original intent. I simply wanted more details regarding the alteration. I am not prepared to confirm the change currently, as it will involve making additional arrangements for accommodations, meals, transport, and taking time off work. I may confirm it later if necessary. Please provide guidance on this matter. Thank you, Ben Orchard

Upon arriving in Tel Aviv, Israel on February 17, [redacted] from a flight originating from Los Angeles, CA, USA, my luggage failed to make it onto the plane. This left me with only the clothes I was wearing for a two-week vacation, causing significant stress and anxiety. Despite several attempts, I was not informed of the status of my luggage, whether it was lost or stolen. On February 20th, ElAl informed Yosher Tours, the travel company I was with, that my luggage was in Israel and would be sent to our hotel, Ramot Resort in Galilee, the following day, as they deemed the Dead Sea resort too far for delivery. I am requesting compensation for this experience as it significantly impacted what was meant to be a memorable trip. My husband and I chose ElAl as we believed they were an exceptional airline, however, our upgraded premium B tickets did not prevent these issues. The reference number for this matter is TLVLY11675/17 Feb 20/1259GMT. Numerous calls to ElAl in the initial days of the incident proved unhelpful, offering no resolution or clarity on the situation.

I had a booking for flight [redacted] from Tel Aviv to Budapest on March 9th, returning on March 13th from Prague under the name Toni Taubenfeld Rosenberg. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to Tel Aviv on March 4th due to various coronavirus-related reasons. I've been trying to contact El Al for two days to no avail. I made the reservation through CheapOair.com, who mentioned they can't assist me until El Al provides instructions. I canceled the flight and would like the refund of $[redacted].76 credited back to my account. Kindly process the refund to the card on file ending in PA3BUZ. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a flight booked with EL AL from Tel Aviv to Manchester on March 25th for my family. My reservation code is KHCJQE, and the airline reservation code is LCEJE7. Due to the recent Israeli rules regarding quarantine for travelers coming from abroad, I am concerned about the implications for my flight. I am seeking confirmation on whether the flight will proceed and how I can potentially change to an earlier flight if needed. Quick clarification is essential as we cannot stay in Israel. I have tried contacting El Al's customer service without success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I had a round trip booked from JFK to TLV (PNR: WNGUWK). Two days before the trip, Israel announced new rules that made me ineligible to fly. I contacted the travel agent who advised me to cancel. He assured me that I would obtain a refund from ElAl. The original flight cost $[redacted].53. However, I only received $[redacted].53 in two transactions: $[redacted].41 from ElAl and $12.12 from the agent. I was also charged a $[redacted].99 cancellation fee. Since I was willing to fly, but the government restrictions prevented it, I believe I am owed an additional $[redacted].99. I kindly request this refund to be processed. Thank you.

My wife and I made flight reservations from Berlin to Tel Aviv for March 22nd (returning on March 31st) with booking code PL6YYE. Unfortunately, due to the Corona crisis and Israel's border closure, we were unable to travel as planned. On March 10th, we received a call from your German office in Frankfurt agreeing to cancel our flights and issue a refund. Despite following up twice with your German office, we have yet to receive any refund. We have flown with EL Al four times since [redacted] for both business and personal travel and have always been satisfied. We hope to continue this positive relationship in the future. We kindly request prompt action to process our refund. Thank you for your assistance. Rolf Seltmann, Petra Klinger-Seltmann Fontanering 1, D-[redacted] Radebeul, Germany

Hello, for the Summer and Fall of [redacted], I attempted to find answers to my questions on the El Al website but was unsuccessful. I kindly ask for your assistance with the following inquiries: 1. I have an ADA-transit card due to spinal arthritis and severe varicose veins. I use a small folding camp-chair with drink holders for support instead of a walker due to leg discomfort. Can I bring this folding camp-chair as an assistive device on my El Al flight? 2. In Economy Class, does El Al permit one or two free checked bags weighing 23kg each? 3. What are the fees and weight limits for each additional checked bag weighing 23kg over the one or two free bags? 4. Does it matter if the hand luggage dimensions of 38cm-30cm are length or width? Is the same measurement consideration applied to personal handbags? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have been attempting to secure a refund for a flight to Tel Aviv on March 19, [redacted], under the name of Abbas Darabi. The flight was booked by Orbitz, and the ticket was issued by El Al.
