I applied for EBT benefits at the beginning of September and got approved on September 12th. The social worker mentioned since it was close to our payment date on the 20th due to our case number in Ohio, they might combine October's payment with the September one. On September 16th, we received the card with $[redacted] for September and $[redacted] for October, which was unexpected. However, after October 20th passed, I contacted my social worker, and she informed me that I wouldn't receive more benefits until November 20th since October's benefits were already paid in September. I expected to receive November's benefit on October 20th according to my understanding of how EBT payments work. It's confusing to me because if they pay in arrears, why weren't September's prorated benefits paid on September 20th and October's on October 20th? This situation leaves my family without payment for over two months. I disagree with the social worker's explanation and find this government process frustrating.

When I contact, I hope to speak with a representative who can assist in resolving my current issue. The problem I am facing is that my benefits did not renew for this month, yet my account reflects that I should have received benefits as of September [redacted]. However, tomorrow will be November 1st. Despite submitting my renewal in September before the deadline, no updates have been provided to me. It seems as if my account has been neglected. I am confused as to why there has been no communication regarding my account status. I am unable to reapply or renew, so I have made a request for attention to be drawn to my account.

My EBT card was closed due to delays in receiving my upgraded paperwork. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I haven't been able to connect with anyone. I was promised a follow-up within 48 hours, but haven't received it yet. I rely on my food stamps every month as I am on disability. My social worker assisted me with the paperwork in October and sent it in promptly. However, I received a letter stating my case was closed because the documents were not received. I urgently need assistance to reopen my account or resolve this issue. If someone could reach out to me to guide me through the process, I would greatly appreciate it. My contact numbers are [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

I'm having an issue with my submitted documents not being reported to my case worker on October 4th, resulting in a delay in my food stamps. Despite sending in the necessary paperwork, the Customer Service Representative failed to inform my case worker, causing a 72-hour delay. It's frustrating that my family is now left waiting for assistance due to this lack of communication.

I'm Samantha M. from Lexington County, South Carolina, and I received a letter about my SNAP recertification phone interview due by November 12th. Despite trying to call multiple times before the deadline, I only encountered a busy signal or was told all representatives were busy for the rest of the day. I even checked with my local DSS SNAP office and was informed to expect a call from an unknown number in a couple of days, which I find odd. As a single mom with two kids, I can't risk delays or cuts to my benefits because of hotline issues. It's frustrating not even being able to wait on hold for assistance. What should I do next?

I am experiencing issues with Citibank regarding my credit card account. My statements were switched from paper to email, which I do not regularly check since I communicate primarily via phone calls and text messages. As a result, I missed payments and accrued $[redacted] in fees and $16.87 in interest. Although Citibank waived two late fees totaling $76, I am still left with a balance of $[redacted].75, mostly in additional fees and interest. I believe this situation is unfair as I never requested email-only statements and have not received any paper statements since my last payment to Macy's. Despite having the card for a while and always paying on time, my account was closed due to these issues. I am seeking an exception to the email-only rule. I recently discovered an unnoticed $27 charge and interest on my March statement, which I promptly paid. I am uncertain about the charges and fees on my account and feel frustrated about the situation. As I have a limited budget, I cannot afford these unjust charges.

I was notified of my approval for food stamps on October 26th. Upon informing my caseworker that I did not possess my previous card from 3 years ago and had not received a replacement, I visited the DFCS office on November 6th for verification. Despite confirmation of my approval, I was advised to have the benefits loaded onto my card. As I no longer had the card, the staff provided me with a contact number. After promptly calling the number and requesting a replacement card, I was informed that it would arrive in 4-9 business days. While I have been trying to remain patient, providing meals for myself and my daughter while managing household expenses has been challenging. I have attempted to seek updates by phone regarding the status of the replacement card. If you could offer any suggestions on how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your assistance. -Ashley

A few months ago, I visited the Augusta, GA office and I think they mistakenly kept my original birth certificate when they were making a copy. I have the copy in my file that has all the information I need for my SNAP benefits. How can I check if they have my birth certificate in my file and what's the best way to retrieve it back? Thank you. - Lisa C. Boatwright

I visited the Augusta, GA office to apply for SNAP/EBT Benefits. When the representative copied my birth certificate, I think she gave me the copy by mistake and kept the original in my file. All I have is the copy in my records. I would appreciate it if you could check my file to confirm if the original is indeed there. If it is, please advise me on the fastest way to retrieve it. Thank you for your assistance. Lisa C. Boatwright

I submitted my application for SNAP benefits on October 29, [redacted]. It has been in a pending status since then. When I visited my local DFACS office to ask about it, they mentioned that there might have been a glitch and advised me to re-apply. I believe there should be a way to track when I originally applied. Now, they are asking me to wait an additional 30 days for the benefits to be processed. I have already been waiting for approximately 40 days, and I feel this is neither fair nor appropriate. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in getting this matter resolved.

I am having trouble accessing EB/CONNECT ONLINE as it indicates that I have 2 accounts, preventing me from logging in. I have been trying to resolve this for 3 hours and contacted Cleveland Co. DHS without success. Please call me at [redacted] to assist as my email is unreliable. I am very frustrated and not a fan of dealing with technology. I may not be able to address this issue today.

I misplaced my food stamp card and reported it lost. They canceled it, but then I found it soon after they closed. I contacted them the next morning to reactivate my old card for Christmas dinner groceries, but they couldn't assist as the process supposedly took less than 24 hours. I'm puzzled why they couldn't reinstate it since it should not have been processed yet.

I recently got approved for Food Stamps and need a Snap card. Unfortunately, I've been asked to provide the last address I had when I previously received them, but it was so long ago that I can't recall. I visited the local DFCS office to update my information, but they mistakenly entered my residential address as my mailing address in my account. This is causing some confusion as I need to receive my Snap card at the correct address.

Hello, I'm Kasie Pourciau. I've been receiving food stamps for a while now. It was time for my redetermination, but I missed my phone interview because I didn't receive my mail. I just noticed that my phone number has changed, and now I can't access my online account because my email isn't being recognized. I really need assistance quickly as I have three kids and it's crucial for me to receive my food stamps by the 6th of the month. Thank you.

I recently misplaced my EBT card and attempted to request a replacement, but encountered an issue with my mailing address. Despite having the correct physical address, the automated system has the city listed instead of the complete mailing address. As a result, I am uncertain where my new card will be sent. I urgently need the EBT card, but my visit to the DFCS office was unproductive as they advised me to contact the number on the back of the card for assistance. I am hoping to speak with a person who can address this error promptly. Your assistance is greatly valued. Thank you in advance.

On January 11th, I visited the Chalmette store to make a purchase using my EBT and Humana food purchase cards. The cashier encountered issues with the Humana card, so she called a manager for assistance. My EBT was processed for $[redacted].12, leaving a balance of around $40. When the cashier mistakenly ran the Humana card as debit and it required a PIN, I explained there was no PIN for that card. The transaction was canceled, and I was asked to unpack everything for the items to be scanned again. Frustrated, I requested a refund and informed the cashier I would shop elsewhere. Despite being promised a quick refund, it did not happen. The store manager offered a $20 gift card, which was inadequate for my needs. Feeling mistreated and disregarded, I was left in tears. The entire experience was distressing, especially as a single mother on disability without extra money for food. The delay in refunding my money is unacceptable, and the lack of empathy from the managers was disheartening. The situation has led me to contemplate legal action against both parties involved. The ordeal at Walmart was not only unfair but possibly illegal, and the disrespect towards a loyal customer in need is appalling.

I wasn't given the correct amount and was asked to bring extra paperwork for weeks. It took over a month to be accepted, causing me to miss my orientation. After being told I hadn't been approved for the previous month, despite evidence to the contrary, the confusion persisted when they claimed I wouldn't receive credit for December. The case worker change added to the mix-up. I provided all required bank statements but was still excluded from a rigid orientation class due to minor lateness. The difficulties were exacerbated by parking constraints and long waits. I am owed what is rightfully mine, and the situation has been frustrating. The lack of communication about missing December's payment due to the orientation hiccup only added to the confusion. I showed up diligently for the class days, only to be turned away each time. Even the correct amount for January wasn't deposited as promised after my recent approval.

I recently started a job as a fisherman and updated my work status with EBT. I spoke to a representative who said they would update my account and send paperwork. After receiving and submitting the forms, I couldn't provide my last paycheck stub but sent all other requested documents. Despite resubmitting, I received another request for documentation. After sending the information again, I got confirmation that EBT received it. However, I haven't received food stamps for April and am unsure if it's related to the pandemic or if I'm ineligible. I've attempted to contact EBT multiple times without success. I'm concerned about my benefits and tried to check online, but there seems to be an issue with my account information. I'm eager to resolve this promptly. Thank you.

I used a Chase ATM in Federal Way, Washington on April 5. I tried to withdraw $[redacted] from my EBT card, but I got distracted looking for my Lysol spray in the car. By the time I got back, the money had been dispensed, and the slot closed before I could retrieve it. I expected the funds to go back into my card automatically, but they did not. I contacted both the Chase ATM and EBT customer service lines. The EBT representative provided me with a claim number, but now when I follow up, no one seems to know about it. Both EBT and Chase are giving me the runaround, with Chase claiming they cannot assist since I am not their customer. I just want my missing money placed back onto my card promptly. I was informed it would take 20 days to investigate the dispute, but I wish to know the current status of this situation.

I encountered a benefits issue on May 20 when attempting to purchase groceries with my EBT card, which was declined despite having a balance of .82. Following my caseworker's advice, I checked after midnight but found no benefits loaded onto my card. After failed attempts to reach customer service, I ordered a new card and faced a 10-day wait only to discover it also had .82. I returned to the store to get a voided receipt showing my declined transaction. While I received benefits for March, April, June, and July, my May 20 benefits are still missing. I am seeking guidance on how to submit the cash register receipt as evidence of not receiving my benefits on that date.
