My benefits are inactive. They were meant to start on the 2nd, but I must have missed a step. My benefits usually pause only in January and July. Recently, I found a stray dog at a rest stop, which I adopted after my service dog was stolen. The dog is a [redacted] lb Pitbull and has been a big eater. Despite the possible rule violation, the companionship has been invaluable to me since the loss of my service dog. With winter approaching, adopting a dog for warmth was my plan anyway, and finding this dog felt like fate. We are both struggling and urgently need my benefits reinstated. I have a job now, making it hard to travel from Oregon City to an office. If necessary, I'll make the trip, but I would appreciate it if my benefits could be reactivated promptly. I submitted my EBT benefits renewal early in August [redacted] instead of September, but they haven't been loaded onto my card by October 11th. I spoke to 'Heather' who promised to follow up with my case worker and supervisor but nothing has happened yet. I left more messages but still no progress. Today, I spoke to someone who sent out an email as a complaint to urge action. I'm desperate as a single mom relying on these benefits for my three kids to eat and have school lunches. I recently realized it's almost been 6 months since my last simplified report, but I never received any notification about my interview date for my benefits. I checked the DCFS website and found out I missed my appointment on October 22nd. I urgently need this assistance as my 7-month-old requires special formula. It's crucial to have clear communication besides just notifications on the website. I've tried calling the food stamps number multiple times but couldn't get through. I am currently receiving $[redacted] from SSI and $29 in SNAP benefits. My concern is the amount of SNAP benefits I receive. I understand SNAP considers main bills, and I give $[redacted] to my dad each month. However, I also spend over $[redacted] monthly on my support animal in training, not to mention the $44.95 veterinary wellness insurance. I save $[redacted] monthly for top surgery to improve my mental health due to gender dysphoria. Despite having savings, they are strictly for this purpose. Due to my mental health conditions, I cannot work to earn more money. I believe the costs related to my health and self-care should be factored into my benefit amount, as $29 is insufficient to cover my needs. I have been eating once a day, but my food runs out by the 2nd to 3rd week each month. Considering my living expenses, I hope my benefits can be increased to around $40-$50. I am striving to improve my situation to eventually not rely on SNAP or SSI. I hope my situation is taken seriously.

I had a renewal due in March, but after giving birth to my son on February 10th, I visited the public assistance office to add him to my food stamp account. Despite renewing and adding him promptly in February, a notification of termination due to lack of my son's social security number appeared shortly after. Even though I provided the card in mid-March, my case was closed. Despite explaining the issue to the staff a couple of times, my food stamps have not been reinstated. I am struggling to feed my family, including my boyfriend, our 1-year-old, and my 2-month-old, without the assistance. I am seeking clarification on why my case remains unresolved despite multiple attempts to rectify the situation.

I recently received approval for SNAP benefits in Arkansas on May 22nd. Unfortunately, I lost my old card and ordered a new one, expecting it within 3-5 days. I called 1-[redacted] on the 7th to track the new card, but since I didn't have a card number, I had to go through the lost/stolen card option to reach a customer service representative. However, the automated system ended up canceling my new card instead of providing assistance. Now, I am facing an additional 7-10 day wait for a replacement card. My household is currently experiencing homelessness and financial hardship, relying solely on these benefits. Despite expedited benefits loaded onto the card on the 25th, I have yet to receive any cards. The DHS office was requested to send a new one nine days ago, and we are still without access to essential funds. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

My internet account is locked, and I am unable to access it through the phone. According to EBT Fact sheet #23, to speak with a Customer Service Representative, call ([redacted]), and do not choose a language, but wait for a representative. Unfortunately, this method did not work for me as the menu cycled through language options and disconnected. Before 8 AM, I attempted your suggested method with no success. After 8 AM, I followed the instructions, but between 9 AM and 10 AM, I was directed straight to entering the last 4 digits of my card followed by the PIN. Due to being deaf, I utilize a relay service with transcripts for each call. I appreciate your assistance in resolving this. Thank you.

Hello, I received a letter in the mail for Cash Aid that required me to submit it before the 30th. I promptly submitted the required information but when I checked my card, it only reflects my CalFresh benefits. The situation is distressing since I have rent due at the beginning of the month. I submitted the necessary paperwork before the deadline indicated on the letter. I am 19 years old and really in need of assistance.

After renewing my case, it was mistakenly closed. Despite having it reopened, there was an issue with authorizing the funds transfer. The caseworker, Ms. A. in Albany, Georgia, failed to release the funds to my card. Unfortunately, my attempts to contact Ms. A. have been unsuccessful as she hasn't been responsive. I am in urgent need of someone higher up at the DFACs office in Valdosta, Georgia, to intervene and ensure my funds are disbursed correctly on the 19th of each month, totaling $[redacted].00, and to address the missed benefits for the past three months. I am struggling to provide for my daughter, and I need assistance resolving this promptly.

I was using your app last night to inquire about a missing EBT card. Upon trying to speak to someone about it, it seems that the card may have been accidentally canceled. Despite having the card in my possession, I am now in a situation where I require surgical tests and possibly admission for wrist and hand repairs next week. Due to my disability and impending surgery, it is challenging for me to visit Social Services in person for assistance. Hello, I am trying to enroll my mom's EBT card under my name since she is blind. However, when I attempt to register it on the mobile app or website, I keep receiving errors for the case number and birthday. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue? I prefer to use the mobile app instead of phoning the customer service line constantly. Should I input my birthday since the card is registered under my name, or should I use my mom's birthday? This is my second attempt to access food assistance through San Diego County. The first time was unsuccessful, and I was not given a reason. Since then, we have been struggling to have enough food. I've been attempting to work, but my son's epileptic episodes make it challenging to keep a job. Despite his condition, he doesn't qualify for disability. Recently, when I went grocery shopping with my EBT card, it didn't work. It's incredibly embarrassing to rely on an EBT card, and having it fail at the store was very distressing. I would rather go hungry than face the disappointment of coming home empty-handed again. It's difficult for my kids to understand our situation, and we often have to shop at discount stores. It's heartbreaking to see the impact on my innocent children. I hope our situation improves without false hope or further embarrassment.

To whom it may concern, I am Susan McCracken. In August, I completed all the necessary steps to renew my food stamps but have not received them since August 13th. Despite following up with the caseworker for a paper application and a phone interview, I have not heard anything back and cannot locate the application. As a senior citizen with a disability and no means of transportation to a food bank, I rely on these benefits. It is frustrating that I have not received my September food stamps and am unable to feed myself. I would like to escalate this issue to a supervisor or someone in charge of the food stamp division. I've been waiting for my EBT card for 3 months now. I am unable to speak to a real person and do not have a card number to access the required websites. I have been trying unsuccessfully to sort this out since 9 a.m. I just want my EBT card mailed to me.
