You can also dispute a charge through the app. Once logged in, look up your ride under Your Trips, select the ride that you wish to dispute, then click "I would like a refund" and then select the reason for the refund request.
The issue in GetHuman-jrpalo's own words
I have been trying to call for more than * weeks, unable to get through. I have * violations that I am being charged an additional $**.** penalty for each. I hold a NY ezpass account ********. Payment was probably refused for initial tolls because I was unaware my credit card was compromised and I was in lockdown for several weeks at another location and unable to receive my mail. I have no problem paying the tolls for violation *T************* T************* T************. I believe these penalties should be removed under the unusual circumstances due to covid**. I have always paid my account faithfully in the past. Again I have reached out to njezpass without success.

GetHuman-jrpalo did not yet indicate what E-ZPass New Jersey should do to make this right.
