Help with my Duolingo issue

I am at level * in ‘plurals’ and type in ‘kadinlar’ for women. This is said to be incorrect, the correct version being exactly what I typed. The same happens with ‘kizlar’. So I am not allowed to go further and therefor have to quit and start again! How can I bypass this incorrect correction?**I am prepared to upgrade Duolingo if I am happy after the first few weeks of practice but this sort of blockage has happened on a number of occasions and concerns me.
GetHuman-phlipph did not yet indicate what Duolingo should do to make this right.

I can’t say how to fix it. I was drawing it to Duolingo’s attention but the return email leads me to go around in circles when I say I still can’t fix it. I would prefer to ignore the problem for now though it has been infuriating when it happens
