We made a payment of $***.** January **th to avoid disconnection of services today, but our customer service rep tells us that the service will still be cut off even though the payment system stated that the notice to cut off power was revoked due to our most recent payment and was not willing to honor our request to wait for payment. The cust svc rep threatened and was not willing to work with me in reagrds to disconnection and wanted us to pay an additional $***.** which we won't have until the January the **th which is right around the corner.
GetHuman-jlmccl did not yet indicate what Duke Energy (NC & SC) should do to make this right.
