View*Access*Edit my Dropbox LOCAL files stored in hard drive Dropbox folder. ... Dropbox app on Mac keeeps launching and ** seconds later crashing and repeating forever until I force quit the app entirely. Read on the web that it can be related to netowrk issues, but it keeps crashing*restarting regardless of ANY network, including an iphone hot spot network connection. We have * wifi and * ethernet option available too. ANYTIME any network is connected Dropbox continually crashes and relaunches endlessly. I also tried COMPLETELY deleting EVERY DROPBOX item off my computer and reinstalling from a stable release current version and the previous versions of the Mac Dropbox desktop app. I'm running this on one of my * identical cloned MacBook Pro **** **' Retina computers, yet the problem only happens on ONE of the Macs. **Scoured the net for other's having this problem, some kinda similar Crash and Restart situations, but as far as I could tell, those were all resolved with ONE delete and reinstall of a stable release of the WINDOWS Dropbox app - but nowhere did I find a case of a MACversion stuck in the crash*relaunch endless loop.**Personally, I think Dropbox's lack of ANY technical support outside of their cookie cutter, forum FAQs is assinine, and therefore I am seriously considering other cloud storage options to switch to - permanently!**Thank you in advance for any direct or indirect offers to help me out of this ANNOYING situation that Dropbox is resposible for, yet they completely wash thier hands of entirely.
There's NO information ANYWHERE on the web with this happening on a MAC. Saw several WINDOWS cases, but deleting and reinstalling the Dropbox app was the solution - which DID NOT WORK on the MAC - TWO TIMES.
Call me selfish, but I just want to ViewEdit*Store vaious files in my local Dropbox folder stored on my MAC. I'm ALL IN with Dropbox - *TB of my most often used, most important files, so it's incredibly frustrating to lose all local Dorpbox access completely on this particular Mac.
I*ve been a Dropbox Premium customer FOREVER! I've loved dropbox becuase it ALWAYS worked no matter what ...until now.
Tried anything and everything I could find on the web, inlcuding every suggestion found in the entire Dropbox help forum.
