I had a terrible experience with Gladstone Golden Grill in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The service was poor, and the DoorDash delivery was a disaster. The restaurant seemed unfamiliar with DoorDash and even Apple Pay, which I used for payment. The order was incomplete, and the driver was unprofessional and rude. When I contacted the restaurant, they admitted they were new to DoorDash, which raised concerns about their competency. I had to go downstairs to collect my food despite providing delivery instructions. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant or order from them again.

Upon arrival at Bryce Rd, Herndon around 2:20 AM on April 2nd, I, Justin (door dash delivery), encountered an issue with the order. One Blueberry Cheesecake was unavailable. The restaurant manager informed the customer who acknowledged it via text. Regrettably, I was unable to deliver the cake. Kindly adjust the price accordingly for the customer. I attempted to seek assistance from DoorDash support through the app at the restaurant and later from Uber support post-delivery, but to no avail. As such, I am reaching out here for assistance. I made a purchase from Jack In The Box in May [redacted]. I was supposed to receive a refund of $27 and some cents because I mistakenly placed an order there instead of at IHOP. They mentioned the food wasn't prepared, so we were promised a full refund. However, up to now, I haven't seen the refund reflected in my account. The Jack In The Box order is visible as canceled in my account history. Kindly process the refund at your soonest convenience. I signed up for the Doordash 30-day trial to place one order and now wish to cancel my account. I am also trying to remove my credit card details which were saved in their system without my consent. Despite sending several emails to [redacted] over the past five days, I keep receiving requests for more information from their customer service team. Each time I promptly reply, yet they claim they cannot locate my account even though I can access it and see my details, with no option to unsubscribe. The following day, I receive another message asking for the same information. I am hopeful for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I work as a washer and have been attempting to set up direct deposit. I uploaded my driver's license four different times, and the photo is clear on my end, but it was flagged as too blurry by the system. Can you please provide me with a fax number so I can fax the information instead? I just started dashing this past Thursday, and I really need to get this set up so I can receive my payments. When ordering on Saturday and Sunday, an extra charge was automatically added without my consent. I contacted the live chat support, and they mentioned I could adjust the tip during checkout, but I couldn't find the option to do so. They then promised to refund the tip, which was okay with me, but instead, they refunded the full amount without deducting just the tip. Now, I have to wait five to seven days for this to be resolved, which is frustrating as it ties up my funds. Additionally, a customer service representative from live chat was disrespectful, suggesting that the issue was my fault and not the app's. At this point, due to the poor customer service from both live chat and phone representatives, I am considering requesting a full refund. The employees seem arrogant and impolite. I'm thinking of switching to Uber Eats for future orders.

On Monday, April 8th, my phone service and Internet were completely down, causing me to miss my 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM delivery window. I couldn't reach customer service as the system was only automated and not accepting messages. I'm having trouble accessing the live chat option on DoorDash through my android. The instructions say to tap the ?, then select "something else," and press "start chat," but I can't find the "start chat" button. I'm relying on gethuman.com to communicate with you now, hoping for assistance in connecting to live chat on DoorDash until I become more familiar with the platform.

In Roanoke, Va, we are frequent users of Grubhub and recently joined DoorDash. On 4-6-19, we ordered from "New York Pizza" through DoorDash, but the restaurant couldn’t deliver, so we reordered from a different Italian restaurant. Surprisingly, both orders arrived, although it was costly. Today, we ordered from "Wasena's Tap Room" and they forgot my soup, and they didn't include a napkin or fork in the bag like other restaurants. This experience made us decide to avoid ordering from them in the future. As disabled residents in an apartment complex, it's challenging when drivers have trouble finding us. Other delivery drivers have located us without issues, but the drivers from this company seem to struggle.

This is the second incident my company has experienced. We placed an order on Doordash with an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes to 1 hour. The food arrived within the expected time, but our concern lies with the behavior of the Doordash delivery drivers. While I am unsure of Doordash's payment system for their drivers, two of them expressed dissatisfaction at receiving only around $11, including the tip, for spending an hour on our order. It is unsettling that they voiced these payment issues to customers like us. This interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and somewhat annoyed with their conduct.

Assuming the transaction failed, I closed the app and reordered through Skip the Dishes, only to receive both orders. While I typically do not complain, the extended processing time caused this mix-up. As a first-time user of DoorDash, I'm disappointed with the app's performance and lack of customer support. On Wednesday, April **, I tried to place an order at Gino's Pizza in Mississauga. My payment took quite some time to process, so I called customer service for help. I placed an order that was supposed to arrive by 6:26 pm. However, at 6:36 pm, the map still indicated the driver was "heading to the restaurant." I was unable to contact the driver as the information could not be loaded, and there was no option to cancel the order. I tried calling the provided phone numbers, but they were constantly busy. This lack of communication was frustrating. After waiting half an hour, I considered ordering from Postmates, only to discover my original order was suddenly en route. Unfortunately, when the food arrived, it was cold and over an hour late. I found it disheartening that there was no functional support number available for situations like this. I hope to receive a refund for this disappointing experience.

I placed an order at The Cheese Steak Shop around 5:25 p.m. Today, at 7:09 p.m., I got a message from the Dasher saying he had app issues and couldn't deliver the order. I then ordered from another place on your website since the Cheese Steak Shop order did not arrive. I tried contacting Doordash support multiple times without success. I placed an order at 9:00 p.m. and did not receive any notifications about my order. After contacting the restaurant, I found out that my order was ready but not picked up. The food arrived cold, so I had to reorder and wait an additional 20 minutes. I ended up paying double for the inconvenience caused. When I reached out to DoorDash, there was no response despite waiting for an hour on the phone. I later received a text from the driver at 11:44 p.m. asking for my address. This delay resulted in receiving cold food three hours later. I would appreciate a full refund for the inconvenience and embarrassment caused by this whole ordeal. Tonight, I ordered food from a restaurant just 2.7 miles away from my house. I received a confirmation text at 7:13pm stating that my order was received, with an estimated delivery time of 7:39. Surprisingly, my order was picked up by the dasher, Shuja, at 7:29, after the expected delivery time. Concerned, I called to check on the delay and noticed Shuja was in downtown Sacramento, far from the restaurant on Arden Way. Despite no indication of picking up another order, the app simply repeated that my dasher was on the way. After about an hour delay, my food arrived cold. I was disappointed as I shouldn't have to reheat fresh food. When Shuja arrived, he didn't apologize for the delay. Given my previous positive experiences with DoorDash, this incident has left me considering other food delivery services. As a resolution, I am requesting a full refund of $30.28. I recently made a delivery to BJ’s Brewhouse and was informed upon arrival that they were no longer accepting orders. Consequently, I had to cancel the delivery, which negatively affected my completion rate. I believe I should be compensated for this since it was not my fault that the restaurant stopped accepting orders. I also had to decline two additional orders to the same restaurant due to this situation and would like those refusals to be excluded from my acceptance rate as well.

Your service is beyond terrible. Let me explain. I placed an order at Wendy's using your service. The app said the driver would be there in 15 to 20 minutes, but it took two and a half hours for my cold, inedible food to arrive. Even my Frosty was melted! When I asked the driver about the delay, he rudely suggested I should have walked to get it myself. Seriously? Is this how you operate? I wonder who thought this was a good idea and what qualifications they have. Due to health issues, neither I nor my sister could walk over to Wendy's, but regardless, your service is a total failure. You lack basic competence and hide behind walls to avoid addressing complaints. In my opinion, that's cowardice. You should be ashamed of providing such lousy service. Clearly, you don't care about your customers; your bad reviews reflect that. Shape up or your business won't last.

I received an order from DoorDash that I placed from the Fairbanks Youth Facility last night in Fairbanks, Alaska. We've ordered from DoorDash several times in the past with good results, but last night was disappointing. The food arrived cold, the driver was unkempt, and it seems the food wasn't stored in a warmer bag. We spent nearly $60 with the tip and chose not to eat the food due to concerns about its temperature. We are requesting a full refund for this order. Despite this experience, we hope to continue using DoorDash. We are loyal customers, regularly ordering food for the top 3 well-behaved kids at our facility, who look forward to their meals. We kindly ask for a refund so we can provide them with a proper meal. Thank you.

I have been delivering for DoorDash for approximately two weeks. The app was functioning correctly until two days ago when it started crashing. After reopening it, the map failed to load and only showed an "unable to load data" message. I attempted various troubleshooting steps, such as force closing the app, uninstalling and reinstalling it, resetting my phone, and trying different network connections, but none of them resolved the issue. Although I can view the schedule and shifts, I am unable to start shifts, view regions, access the earnings page, or see my earnings. Interestingly, when I logged into my account on my friend's phone, everything worked fine. All other apps on my phone work without any problems; it seems to be specific to the DoorDash app. I hope there is a solution to this problem that doesn't involve getting a new phone. Thank you.
