Hello* I ordered on-line with El Pollo Loco in San Rafael, CA (order ********** placed on ******* @ **:**). They used DoorDash to deliver my order. Unfortunately, the order that was delivered was not my order. I tried to give the order back to the DoorDash driver who stated to me that he had already waited an unreasonable ** minutes for my order at counter & that I should call customer service as it wasn't his problem. I then called El Pollo Loco to try to correct issue. They stated that my order was not appearing on their screen so they asked the DoorDash driver what the order entailed and that per his instructions they prepared my order. They advised me to take it up with DoorDash as they felt they were not in the wrong as they were following his direction. Well, I don't know who is telling me the truth. Both parties were very rude. I feel that some one should have been contacting me for clarification if there was an issue. As the consumer….I certainly didn't deserve the rudeness I was subjected too. I don't think the DoorDash driver should receive any monies from me as he was so very rude & dismissed me with a "It's not my problem*you need to call customer service". I also don't think DoorDash should engage any further with San Rafael El Pollo Loco as they seem to be having great issue with "visualizing" an on-line order.*I have done a lot of business with DoorDash…I am an RN & I work night shift (*pm-*am) so I appreciate the service that you provide. I know it's not always easy to get it ***% correct…I accept that. But this has been by far the absolute worst experience I have ever encountered in what should have been a simple transaction.*Respectfully Submitted,*Lisa Rivera
