There is a significant issue with the road conditions in Fluvanna County on RT [redacted] (West Bottom Rd) and [redacted] Bremo Rd due to trucks hauling ash from the Bremo plant. The roads are unsafe and in poor condition. Urgent action is needed to repave the roads and address the bridge's condition to prevent further damage. Dominion and VDOT should take immediate steps to resolve these issues to avoid potential accidents. I have documentation and will take appropriate action if the matter is not addressed promptly. Concerns include tire damage, alignment issues, and overall safety hazards on these roads.

I arranged for the power to be reconnected on Thursday after it was cut off on Monday at 5 p.m. Two service trucks arrived at [redacted] Normandy Lane in Newport News, VA, at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday. I observed the service personnel conducting some checks and adjustments. Despite being assured that the connection would be made by 9 p.m., there was no communication from VA Power. When I contacted them, I was told that there was no scheduled time for the reconnection due to a high volume of calls. Unfortunately, their customer service was unhelpful and unable to provide any information. It is disappointing that despite clearly stating our medical requirements and the clear weather, the service was not completed when the trucks were on-site. It seems that the service personnel were more interested in conversation than fulfilling their scheduled tasks.

Today, H and P Electric came to my home and removed a meter base whole-house surge protector without notifying me beforehand. The technician mentioned that these were being removed in Virginia Beach with notification letters sent out. I did not receive any notice. I have had this device for over a decade and now it's gone. The technician left no documentation proving Dominion Energy Virginia's authorization. Our power was disconnected during the removal. I want to know if Dominion Energy authorized this and how my electrical equipment is now safeguarded against power surges.

To Whom It May Concern, I sent this letter via email on July 11, [redacted], and I am now typing it here for your reference. My father passed away on February 19, [redacted]. After his passing, my mother had refused to change the electric bill from his name to hers. Following my mother's recent passing, my son has purchased the house and transferred the bill to his name. Consequently, we received a refund check in the mail addressed to my late father, Russell R. Argabrite, from the USN, in the amount of $[redacted].42. Unfortunately, I no longer possess my father's will, in which I was appointed as the executor of his estate. Best Regards, Martha Cassidy [redacted] Herbert Street Norfolk, VA [redacted] Enclosed: - Copy of my father's death certificate - Copy of the front and back of the check - Copy of my Driver's License I am having trouble downloading the attachments as required. Please let me know if you need me to directly email them to you.

Since moving to this area 11 months ago, I have experienced 16 power outages. I reside in Waterford Heights, and the power goes out frequently, even on clear days and especially during storms. This level of disruption is unusual for me, having lived in various places over the past 60 years. Locals even refer to this area as the Power Outage Triangle. I am eager to understand why these outages happen so often and hope for a resolution soon.

This morning, a Dominion technician visited my home to read my meter. I understand the necessity but was surprised since it hasn't been done in years. The technician mentioned that the meter is read monthly, which I find hard to believe due to safety measures with my pool. I was advised to reach out to Dominion regarding the issue with remote readings on my meter. They suggested fixing the meter for remote access or notifying me before visits to unlock the gates for access.

I have a situation with my neighbor, and I would like some advice. My neighbor requested to use my outdoor outlets with extension cords due to a power outage at his house. It's been a month, and he hasn't shown any effort to fix the issue. I suspect he might not be truthful about his power loss. I initially allowed this to help him save his perishables, but now I am skeptical. Can you confirm if Dominion Energy cut off his power? If they did, I will approach him about discontinuing the temporary arrangement. Here is his address for reference: [redacted] Atwater Dr. Hopewell, VA. [redacted]. Thank you. E. Mitchell Jones, [redacted] Atwater Dr. Hopewell, VA. [redacted].

I recently had my meter upgraded, and I feel there should have been prior notification through mail. This is essential to differentiate between a legitimate communication from the electric company and a potential scam targeting unsuspecting individuals, especially the elderly. In today's world, it's crucial to safeguard our finances from unscrupulous individuals. I find it challenging to trust information provided without tangible proof. If I had received a paper notice from the power company confirming the meter upgrade, it would have prevented the confusion we encountered yesterday. Unfortunately, I spent an hour or two speaking with customer service, who were unable to address my queries effectively as I was passed around to various numbers.

On December 4th, I received a letter notifying me about a $[redacted] security deposit being charged by Dominion Energy because of my limited history with them. I have been a customer since [redacted], but it appears the bill was under my husband's name. I had to depart from that address due to domestic abuse. I now reside in an apartment where the bill is in my name since September [redacted]. While I have found a more secure place to live, I am currently paying bills for two locations for a few months. It feels unfair to be penalized for leaving an unsafe situation. I want to highlight that I have been making timely payments at both locations and maintain a credit rating of over [redacted].

I hired Smith and Keene, an electrician in Chesapeake, Virginia, to replace my home's electrical panel on August 30, [redacted]. According to the electrician, Dominion Virginia Power must cut the power for the replacement, and they have not been available for the service. Despite several attempts, the earliest date given was December 18, [redacted], as Dominion Virginia Power is postponing the power cut until after the new year. As a result, I have no power in half of my house, and the panel replacement is delayed. The electrician mentioned that some customers face extended waits due to Dominion Virginia Power's unavailability for scheduling power outages at my residence for the panel replacement.

I previously emailed about the situation at Smith and Keene in Chesapeake, VA, where we are waiting for Dominion to cut off power to change the electrical panel. I need to inform the electrician to coordinate with Dominion. Please pause my request for Dominion Virginia Power to contact Smith and Keene, but continue working with the electrician for the future request to install a new electrical panel at my home. Thank you.

I recently bought a 28X14 prefabricated building for my wood working shop. I am in need of running power to the building, potentially with the addition of a separate meter. My home address is [redacted] Castle Ct. Suffolk VA. Running power from my house could be challenging due to a paver sidewalk that would require tunneling. I am seeking advice on the best available option for powering the building and whether there would be a monthly cost for a separate meter, even if no power is used.

I am currently inquiring about an outstanding payment related to my late husband's account under Walter Bartlett with A/C number [redacted]. Following the move to my daughter's place, I no longer reside at the previous address at [redacted] Bacon Street, Bealeton, Va., Apt [redacted]. Despite not receiving a final bill, I reached out and was informed that the amount due was $82.44. In the absence of a physical bill to include with the payment, I sent a check (check number [redacted]) to Energy Share in Richmond, Va. on January 10th. As the end of January approaches, the check remains uncashed. Upon contacting the company today, experiencing a wait exceeding half an hour, I fear my payment may have been misplaced. I explicitly designated the purpose of the payment to avoid it being mistaken for a donation. Kindly investigate this matter promptly and provide an update. Thank you.

On Friday, a tree fell in my yard, causing damage to electrical and cable lines and blocking the road with yellow tape. Dominion has restored power, but a cable line is still down in the street. Can I remove the tape and temporarily move the cable line to the side until it can be properly reattached by the technicians?

A few weeks ago, your company was clearing trees near the power lines behind my property. When I checked the area a few days ago, I noticed that saplings and bushes on my shoreline had been removed, even though they were not blocking the power lines. Additionally, large limbs and tree trunks were left on my property near the water's edge, which did not come from my land. I am concerned that during high tide, these items may cause damage to my dock. I oppose the removal of shoreline bushes as they help prevent erosion and maintain soil stability. I request the debris be removed and the destroyed bushes to be replanted to restore the shoreline vegetation. Disposing of waste in the Chesapeake Bay's tributaries is not acceptable. Thank you, J. B.

I encountered a concerning issue regarding a recent phone message claiming to be from Dominion Energy. The recorded message threatened to disconnect my electric service if I did not pay my bill. Upon calling the number provided ([redacted]), I spoke to an individual requesting a $[redacted].00 deposit for a meter replacement, citing an old meter as the reason. This behavior seemed suspicious, especially with the demand for a large deposit and credit card information. After discussing with friends who also received similar calls, I wanted to bring this to your attention. It is unusual for customers to be asked for a deposit for equipment by Dominion Energy. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly. Thank you, Bob Glasgow.

I am in the process of finalizing the purchase of my house this week. Recently, I discovered a $[redacted] lien dating back to [redacted] related to an electric bill. However, I did not have an account at that address in [redacted], and the account was not associated with my social security number. After contacting Virginia Dominion Power and confirming that the account was not linked to me, I requested a date of service letter. To proceed with closing, I urgently need an email confirming that there was no account under my name in [redacted]. Please contact me promptly to resolve this issue. Thank you.

My printing business, Donnelly's Printing, is facing a critical issue with our press repeatedly shutting down due to documented power surges. It seems the surges are causing the press to safeguard itself by shutting down to prevent damage. After service techs confirmed the problem originating from power surges tracked by the power line conditioner, I am urgently requesting a service call from VA Power to assess and rectify this electrical issue. The consistent interruptions are severely impacting our business operations. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. My name is Thomas G., residing at [redacted] Exchange Lane, Gloucester, VA [redacted], Account Number [redacted]. We are experiencing another power outage due to a dead tree on Elmington Lane. This marks the third occurrence where this tree has caused wires to fall and poles to be damaged. Urgent action is needed to address this hazardous tree to avoid future outages. The century-old tree is no longer alive and poses a recurring threat. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial as the entire neighborhood is currently without power. Thank you, Tom.

I recently moved into a new apartment with Dominion Power. To activate my service, I tried filling out their online form, but my unit is missing from the options available, complicating the process. Despite my effort to reach out through various channels, I faced challenges. The sole customer service number required an account number I don't have since I haven't received a bill yet. Visiting their closed facility was also unhelpful, as the same inaccessible number was provided. I seek a resolution without facing legal repercussions or unexpected bills due to Dominion Power's customer service shortcomings.
