On 09/25/[redacted], I visited the store on [redacted] El Camino Real in Santa Clara, CA, accompanied by my 1-year-old son. While my son was grabbing some items, an employee began yelling at me to tidy up. I explained I wasn't creating a mess, but she insisted it wasn't her job to clean up after me. Despite my frustration, I maintained I wasn't at fault. When she insulted me, I retorted, but the situation escalated. I sought assistance from another employee, who advised me to watch my child, failing to address the confrontation. Feeling embarrassed and unsupported, I left in tears after no resolution.

I ordered 6 mugs, but they arrived poorly wrapped and all were broken. After a 42-minute wait on the customer service line, someone finally answered. When given the option of a refund or reordering, I inquired about getting a refund for shipping too, considering the poor packaging. The agent initially agreed but later mentioned that the shipping cost wouldn't be refunded due to the included tissue paper, which only cost $3. Frustrated by this, I decided to reorder instead. However, the agent informed me that a refund was already processed and couldn't be changed to a reorder.

Dear Customer Service, I am concerned about the current checkout process at your store. Making customers handle the POS system to select whether they want a receipt or not is inefficient and unhygienic. The POS system is touched by numerous people daily and is not sanitized in between transactions, especially during flu season, this poses a health risk. In my opinion, when using any type of card, a receipt should be automatically provided. If paying with cash, cashiers should have the ability to select whether a receipt is requested on their terminal instead of having the customer make that decision. This extra step only complicates the checkout process for both customers and staff. Thank you, J. L.

I visited the Dollar Tree in Gahanna, Ohio on 10/04/[redacted] around 5:15pm EST. The cashier who assisted me was James. I bought $38.79 worth of Halloween decorations, closely monitoring my spending due to budget constraints. Despite my attention, James appeared distracted during the transaction, engaging in various tasks and even placing a coupon in my bag. As I approved the $38.79 total on the pin pad, I noticed a sudden increase to $59.79 before James swiftly corrected it. When I inquired about the discrepancy, James remained silent, which was concerning. Eventually, another customer suggested I inadvertently pressed for cash back, resulting in the higher total. James then refunded me $20 in cash without explanation. The entire episode left me feeling uneasy, as it seemed like James might have tried to pocket the extra money. Although reluctant to report this, I believe it's important to share my experience for further investigation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I want to share my feedback about the store located in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. The store's exterior and nearby stores are not well maintained, making it unappealing to walk in. The store itself is often dirty, shelves are disorganized, and items require digging through to find what you need due to lack of proper arrangement. As a person relying on food stamps due to my disability, affordability is important, which is why I choose to shop here. However, the absence of baskets at this store and even at the Lafayette locations makes it difficult for me to purchase multiple items at once. This issue needs to be addressed as it impacts the shopping experience for customers like me.

I purchased multiple items from Dollar Tree for store pickup. Unfortunately, one item, specifically the Palmers Coconut Oil Lip Balm, did not arrive at the local store. Despite visiting the store twice to inquire about its status, the manager advised contacting Dollar Tree to arrange for redelivery since they didn't have it in stock as an alternative. The missing item should consist of two cases with 12 items each, but only one case of 12 was received. The local store is situated at [redacted] Church Avenue, Brooklyn, NY [redacted].

I recently had a disappointing experience while trying to place an order with Dollar Tree. The first customer service representative I spoke to was very rude and hung up on me, and the second representative was also unable to assist me properly. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, even they struggled to help me efficiently. The supervisor, who identified himself as Hunter, was also unhelpful and refused to provide me with his location or last name. Additionally, his questioning about my credit card made me feel uncomfortable. This negative encounter was disheartening, especially as a first-time customer. I'm hoping Dollar Tree can locate my order from 9/11/19 at 9:45 am. Looking forward to a response.

I just spent 20 minutes on hold without any answers or the chance to speak with a representative. I was under the impression they valued my feedback when all I wanted was clarity on a couponing issue. I had a coupon for two dollars off two items, but the cashier only allowed me to have one dollar off. Additionally, my daughter-in-law faced restrictions on buying multiple papers. The limited number of papers available each week and the staff's rude behavior towards coupon users is disappointing. For individuals on a fixed income, like those on disability, coupons are essential to making ends meet. It would be beneficial if they understood this and were more accommodating.

I shopped at your store on Commercial Drive in New Hartford, New York (store #[redacted]) at 7:00pm on October 18th, [redacted]. Despite easily finding the products I needed, the checkout process left me dissatisfied. While I typically avoid complaining about retail staff having been one myself, on this occasion, I felt compelled to share my experience. Alisa processed my purchase. Unfortunately, she did not greet us, eat chips while serving us, and handed me my receipt with greasy fingers, making the interaction unprofessional. Her lack of a smile and behavior surprised me, leading to a negative experience. Although I do not wish for Alisa to lose her job, it is important to address this issue to prevent future occurrences.

I visited the store in Rockland, MA to pick up my $[redacted].00 online order. The manager rudely mentioned I will have to wait when I informed her I was there for a pickup. After a delay, she gave me a displeased look and walked away. I eventually left without any help after waiting for ten minutes. The other staff members were friendly and noticed my frustration. I attempted to get the contact information for the district or regional manager but was told by 1-[redacted]-[redacted]-TREE that they couldn't provide that information. I want to confirm my order cancellation and be contacted by a district or regional manager. My name is Renee B.

My concern is regarding Dollar Tree store (#[redacted]) located at [redacted] S. Croatan Highway, Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina [redacted]. I visited this store with friends around 8:30-9:00 pm during the week of 10/01/[redacted] through 10/03/[redacted]. As a full-time resident in the area, I noticed the store appeared closed from the outside due to no exterior lights. Despite parking and discovering the store was open, the lack of lighting surrounding the store poses safety risks for both customers and employees. The dimly lit areas outside are unwelcoming and can potentially lead to criminal activities given the location. Employees going outside after dark are also at risk. I raised this issue with the store staff, who mentioned the lights are never on. Ensuring proper lighting is crucial for the safety and well-being of everyone frequenting the store. I hope Dollar Tree takes action to address this safety concern promptly at all their stores nationwide.

I recently started at Dollar Tree in San Rafael on 10/5 and 10/6/[redacted]. On my first day, I encountered some confusion as I wasn't in the system. The supervisor asked me to return on Monday at 11am to 7pm, but insisted on a livescan before starting work. I tried to obtain verification from the Social Security office as suggested, but they couldn't provide it. I then asked for the livescan form, but it was unavailable. The supervisor promised to follow up but hasn't. I learned that it's illegal to request a livescan without the referring agency's involvement. Can someone confirm or deny my employment status regarding this issue? Thank you, Regina Talton.

Hello, good afternoon. I usually shop at your store for over $70. Today, I had a bad experience with the manager. I know your policies do not allow carts to be taken out, so I asked the manager if I could leave the cart in her view since it was crowded and my items were already paid for. She shouted at me in front of many people. I repeated that I was only leaving it while I went to get a few things because it's impossible to carry everything if carts are not allowed outside and someone takes what I paid for. She did not give me her name. I believe the staff should be trained for better service. Just because it's a convenient store, that doesn't mean they should be so intolerant and rude. The store is located between Ohlen and Research BLV [redacted] Austin, TX, Store #[redacted] at 4:06 PM. The cashier was very kind, but she couldn't help me as the manager was very rude. I hope you consider my complaint. It was awful to be shouted at when all I wanted was help.

I had an encounter at Store #[redacted] in Clawson with the manager that left me feeling uneasy. I explained my hearing impairment to her, and her response seemed dismissive. She repeated "Have a good day" multiple times and gestured as if I needed to leave. I worry about potential retribution if I return to the store. Another clerk named Julian seemed supportive, but the manager's attitude was concerning. I approached her respectfully to address the situation, but she seemed defensive. I believe it's important to address issues like this without resorting to bullying. I hope for understanding and patience towards people with hearing impairments to prevent similar incidents in the future.

I have been a customer at Dollar Tree Store [redacted] in Navarre, FL for over a year. The previous store manager was always friendly, but on my last 2 visits with the new manager, Zeena, I observed her being verbally abusive to the staff, yelling orders and making demeaning comments. She seems to lack respect for the employees' schedules and has created a hostile work environment. The employees feel afraid and uncomfortable, and one long-term cashier has even been prohibited from bringing her therapy dog to work. This situation is concerning, and if there is no improvement, I may have to consider taking legal action to protect the rights of the employees. I will continue to monitor the situation and hope that corrective action is taken soon.

I have a Santa event scheduled next week for 30 kids. I made an order for 36 plush toys on October 17 from your website and was initially given an estimated delivery date of October 18. However, upon checking the order status on the 28th, it was changed to the 29th. As of today, the 30th, the order status is showing no sales record. After contacting customer service, they mentioned they would refund the amount charged to my credit card, despite the lack of inventory. I placed this order the same day I received the Christmas catalogue via email. I am disappointed that I did not receive any notification about this issue and had to discover it through customer service. I am well-versed in managing inventory resources, and this kind of problem is unacceptable. Please ensure that my credit card is refunded promptly. Thank you.

I am hoping to discuss an issue with the district manager regarding a rude manager at Dollar Tree in Culpeper, VA. In July, I was informed that the coupon policy had been corrected, but when I tried to use coupons again, I faced resistance from a cashier last week. Another manager intervened and said the district manager had approved using the coupons. Today, a different manager refused, claiming that if the coupons beep at the register, they cannot be accepted. When I mentioned the prior manager's approval, she became confrontational and suggested contacting the district manager myself. The manager even disputed my past communication with the district manager. I left without making a purchase. I can provide the email correspondence from July with the district manager if needed. I found the manner in which I was spoken to disrespectful and being called a liar was unacceptable. I tried calling the number provided in the email from July to reach the district manager but have not had success. If the district manager could kindly return my call, I would appreciate it. Thank you, Joelle Meyer [redacted].

I am a Social Security Disability recipient and rely on a relative to drive me for shopping due to health issues. Shopping at Dollar Tree for five years, spending around $50 each time, I encountered an issue on 11/5/[redacted]. After being unexpectedly charged $[redacted]+, I called immediately to rectify the situation. Despite being told they could not provide a cash refund, I was willing to accept a credit on my card for the excess amount. The store manager refused to assist further, insisting only another absent manager or corporate could help, which frustrated me. The rude behavior of the cashier and the manager's lack of professionalism left me upset. I am seeking a credit of $70+ on my card as a resolution. Your prompt attention to this matter is appreciated. Thank you. - Christine W.

I wanted to report an issue regarding theft at the store located on Pico and Manhattan. The individuals standing outside the store and in the parking lot are stealing consistently. I witnessed two men filling up bags and backpacks, intimidating the cashier who couldn't react due to fear. This seems to be a regular occurrence - they exploit using the restroom as a cover to steal items. Lack of security is causing significant losses as they steal openly throughout the day. It's frustrating to see them freely carrying stolen goods out of the store. The problem persists with individuals encouraging others to steal without consequences, especially near the tree outside on Manhattan.

I was terminated today and need to contact HR urgently about this matter, including issues like discrimination and defamation. If I don't receive a response by November 11th at noon CST, I will involve my attorney who is investigating various concerns related to store [redacted] and lodge a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
