This email is to request a conversation with your corporate office regarding the APPALLING treatment I received by a sales associate today. Her name is Jenelle. My store receipt number is: **********************.**I placed my basket on the counter for checkout. The associate did nothing. I questioned whether she was going to check me out. She asked me to remove my items from the basket. I asked why she could not do the removal. Her response, “ I do not do that.”’I replied everyone else does.”’ Her response: “ they do that to be nice. I do not do it.”**Following, that encounter, I asked her to move her hair from across her name tag. She stated her name was Jenelle. She further stated she would gladly had told me her name if I just asked. Throughout, her level of arrogance was inexcusable.**I informed her of my intent to report her behavior. Her response: “ talk or call whomever you like.” **After checking out my purchases, she went to hand me my change. Because of Spiritual reasons, I can not accept anything from someone directly. Thus, I asked her to please place it on the counter. She proceeded to roll her eyes, **** her teeth, and subsequently threw my change on the counter.**As a last verbal gesture, she stated, “ remember my name is Jenelle.**As a consumer, I have an expectation to be treated with greater respect than the treatment I received. It is my hope such interactions are not acceptable by Dollartree’s management and corporate office.**This young lady’s demeanor and overall haughtiness are not attributes that are suitable for customer service.**My patronage of Dollartree is a matter of choice. There are a myriad number of places I could shop. It is my hope my patronage is valued and respected by Dollartree.**Such behavior should not be condoned.**I request a callback from someone to discuss this interaction.
