I bookes my reservation through Expedia and was quoted $*** for four days and insurance. When I went to pick up the car, they asked if I wanted the insurance and I said to keep it for whatever had been reserved online. Since I was paying with a debit card, he stated a credit check was required and an additional deposit. He said $*** was going to be placed on hold on my account and that I would be getting the rest back upon return. He never explained ANYTHING about the charges, the cost, or the fact that the Expedia price meant absolutely nothing. Upon returning the car, I was told them email reservation from Expedia means nothing and that only the contract is correct. When I tried to get an understanding of why my bill was $*** more than it should have been, I was told that should have all been explained to me and "wouldn't be getting anything refunded to me, go to small claims court." I have worked in customer service for ** years and would never have treated a customer the way I was treated.
