Lenoir City Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Lenoir City, TN Buyers Beware, I have bought two new vehicles from this dealership for almost $[redacted],[redacted] in total within the past one and a half years. The first vehicle had issues with my Disabled Veteran Tag being damaged and replaced. Now, onto the second vehicle, a [redacted] Challenger R/T, there were various paint damages from the factory. Despite taking the car back to the dealership for repairs, the service department displayed unacceptable behavior towards customers. After several attempts, I met with the Service Manager, John Brown, and the car was sent for repairs. However, upon inspection, I found that the work done was subpar with paint burns, ceramic coating removal, and unfinished repairs. Despite bringing up these issues, the management, including GM Eduardo Martorell, denied any wrongdoing and even turned aggressive when confronted. I have evidence of the damages and poor workmanship and am requesting a reimbursement of $1,[redacted].58. I advise future buyers to consider other dealerships in the area due to these experiences. There are more details to share, but I will stop here for now. Buyers Beware.

I have a [redacted] Dodge Grand Caravan with VIN: 2D4RN4DG8BR763337 and 62,[redacted] kilometers on it. Recently, the Malfunction Indicator Light came on while driving. Everything seems fine, but it's concerning. I'm looking for guidance on retrieving an error code from the vehicle's software to diagnose the issue without costly mechanic visits. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! -Robert B. Tel: 1-[redacted] Email: [redacted]

I have been content with my Dodge Ram [redacted] until now. Unfortunately, the lifter has failed, and it seems like I will need a new rebuilt engine, costing around $10,[redacted]. My truck has [redacted],[redacted] miles. The issue with the defective lifter in the [redacted] Dodge Rams is widely discussed online. Why hasn't there been a recall for this? Why am I only getting 6 years out of a pickup truck? I have diligently maintained it, adhering to the correct maintenance schedule and using the appropriate fuel. As my work vehicle, I can't currently afford a new truck or to invest $10,[redacted] in a truck that should be functioning properly. My wife drives a Dodge we bought new, and both her parents drive Chryslers, one of them being a Dodge Ram I suggested. I now have to inform them about the potential issues with their vehicles. I have also recommended Rams to others, whom I will also need to advise to consider their options.

We purchased a [redacted] Dodge Rebel in [redacted], and it currently has 64,[redacted] miles on it. Initially, when we bought it, the vehicle only had 19,[redacted] miles on it. The VIN number is 1C6RR7YTXGS200376. On January 1st, [redacted], the truck began to act strangely, as if it had bad fuel. We refueled, but then the truck started jerking. When we turned off the ignition, there was a loud noise, and the truck never started again. A mechanic towed the truck and identified multiple problems, including the need to replace the engine long block and other issues. The total cost so far is $10,[redacted], with a possibility of more expenses. We are confused as to why this is not covered under warranty. Given that our previous vehicles have not had any issues, we believe Dodge should cover these costs, as the mechanic mentioned he had not encountered such problems with a relatively new vehicle before.

Recently, the motor in my [redacted] Dodge Ram Rebel unexpectedly blew up, causing significant damage. There were no warning signs beforehand; the truck suddenly began jerking after refueling, and upon restarting it, there was a loud bang, and the engine failed to turn over. After the mechanic's assessment, it was revealed that the block was cracked, and the head was blown. We incurred a hefty out-of-pocket repair cost of $9,[redacted].00, unaware that the truck was still under warranty. Upon attempting to claim warranty coverage, we were denied due to purported lack of authorization, despite having paid $3,[redacted].00 for the warranty. We believe we are entitled to a refund given the substantial investment of over $50,[redacted].00 in the truck, which has only clocked 60,[redacted] miles. We seek clarification on the warranty denial and reimbursement for the repair expenses.

I have serious concerns regarding the Dodge certified pre-owned vehicle I purchased. Despite being under warranty, none of the needed repairs are covered. Examining the car's history in the attached Carfax report reveals multiple issues - including axle replacements, electrical problems, and a prior accident - all with less than 40,[redacted] miles on the odometer. During the sales process, I raised these concerns with the salesperson Andrea Nichols, who assured me the vehicle met Dodge's high standards. I respectfully request the regional manager overseeing PA and VA to investigate this matter thoroughly. While I prefer exchanging this Lemon for a similar Durango, I would settle for coverage of all repairs (excluding oil and tire changes) until [redacted],[redacted] miles with no deductible. I appreciate your prompt attention to rectifying this situation.

My [redacted] Dodge Durango Limited is experiencing intermittent issues with the transmission downshifting unexpectedly and the engine RPM dropping below 1k. These occurrences happen on the highway at high speeds and at lower speeds on regular roads, sometimes even when decelerating. I have already replaced components related to oil pressure based on diagnostic codes, but the problem persists. I have requested the dealership to run diagnostics on the transmission control module and consider flushing the ATF to address the issue, as replacing oil pumps did not solve the problem.

Hello, I leased a Dodge Challenger [redacted] in February [redacted] for 2 years and recently went through the return process. Chrysler Capital contacted me to provide instructions for the return, but I received multiple unnecessary calls reiterating the same information. Despite completing the pre-inspection without any issues, I faced challenges when attempting to return the car. Initially, I tried to return it to my local dealer in Newark, CA, but was informed they couldn't accept the car due to remodeling. I then reached out to another Dodge dealership in San Jose, where I was met with unhelpful and dismissive behavior, ultimately being told to return the car where I initially leased it from in Pleasanton, CA. Upon final return, I encountered poor service and was informed about additional fees for not leasing or buying another Chrysler vehicle, which was not previously mentioned. I am requesting a waiver of all return costs and a credit for the unused months of [redacted] DMV registration as compensation for the unprofessional service experienced. Thank you, Best regards, Peter T. VIN 2C3CDZAG4JH155007

Hello, I was in search of a new car and decided to lease the Dodge Challenger. Many dealerships declined due to my lack of credit history in the US, except for Stoneridge Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Pleasanton, CA. After a lengthy process involving test driving, pricing negotiation, and paperwork, I leased the vehicle. However, I experienced several difficulties after the initial week when Chrysler Capital requested additional documentation and eventually changed my lease term from 3 years to 2 years. Despite offering to provide advance payment and green card application proof, I was still required to sign a new contract with a higher monthly payment. As my lease nears its end and my green card approval looms, I requested to extend the lease back to the original 3-year agreement, but this was denied, citing potential fees if I do not lease or buy another Chrysler vehicle. I believe I deserve compensation for the inconvenience caused by the unprofessional handling of my situation. Thank you, Peter Tvarozek VIN 2C3CDZAG4JH155007

In January [redacted], I took my [redacted] RAM [redacted] Mega to Ramsey Jeep in NJ for service due to a rear main leak. Initially, they said the repair would take 3 days, but it took 8 days with various excuses given for the delay. Two weeks later, I noticed oil stains on my driveway and took my truck to Teterboro Jeep in NJ. They confirmed the oil pan was leaking, revealing that the first dealer hadn't touched the truck. Now the district manager wants me to return the truck to the initial dealer for repairs, but I'm hesitant due to my lack of trust. I prefer Teterboro Jeep to address the leak. Additionally, I have a leaking third brake light that damaged the headliner, with the warranty expired. The dealer refuses to fix it for free despite a service bulletin issued during the warranty period. They claim I should have come in before the warranty expired, which seems unfair to me.

I recently bought my fourth Ram/Dodge truck from the Beaumont, Texas dealer. After researching online, I made the purchase through a salesman who assured me that the truck came equipped with Uconnect features such as vehicle tracking and remote unlock. However, upon receiving the truck, I realized that not all Uconnect 4 radios offer these capabilities as I had been led to believe. Despite the salesman's apology, I was disappointed to spend $38,[redacted] on a truck that doesn't meet my expectations. My previous [redacted] Ram Pickup had these features with a simple Uconnect upgrade, so I find it misleading to claim the new truck has Uconnect when the capabilities have changed.

Three weeks ago, I bought a [redacted] Ram [redacted] Laramie from Autonation in Springs, TX. The deal was done over the phone since I live far away. After learning about an open recall on the truck, I waited for it to be fixed. When I arrived to pick up the truck, it was not ready, and the wash job was poorly done, full of scratches. The sales manager mentioned the detail department was being let go, and I agreed to have the truck buffed at a shop near me, expecting reimbursement. Despite sending the receipt, I am yet to receive the $[redacted]. To add to my disappointment, the engine insulation was a mess, resembling a habitation for rodents. After contacting the salesman and being promised a new hood liner, I am still waiting for it to arrive. This experience makes me doubt if I'll purchase from them again. Your assistance in resolving this matter is appreciated.

I brought my [redacted] Charger to Lums Dealership in December [redacted], and ever since then, my car has been nothing but trouble. I've returned it to the dealership over 15 times. They kept it from 5/10/[redacted] until 3/15/[redacted]. I trusted a dealership to fix my car, but it seems like they don't know what they are doing. They have been dishonest with me multiple times, and I am exhausted from having to argue with them about these issues. I spent too much money for these ongoing problems. Surprisingly, the car performed better the first time I brought it in than it has after all the visits.

Good afternoon. I have been attempting to find a way to replace the frame for my [redacted] Dodge Ram [redacted] Hemi 2-door. I purchased it without much knowledge and now face a potential loss of $[redacted]. The dealership has been pushing me to buy new, but that's not financially feasible for me as I rely on this truck for work. Despite a past accident that left me with serious injuries and doubts about walking again, I refuse to give up. I am 47 years old and determined to rebuild my truck, turning it into a project and a hobby. I am reaching out for assistance and hoping that someone can come forward to help me. I am a highly intelligent and mechanically inclined individual who believes in perseverance and continuous learning. I am sharing my story in earnest, hoping for support in this endeavor.

I purchased a Dodge Promaster Van from Premier Dodge in New Orleans in [redacted]. Recently, I received a recall notice regarding the shifter cable. After calling Premier last week to schedule an appointment, I was informed to bring my van in today, 6/9/[redacted], between 7 and 8 am. However, upon arriving, I was told that the repair part was not in stock, and they had no record of my appointment. It was disappointing to have driven [redacted] miles for this service. I am left wondering if this is the level of customer service one can expect from Dodge.

**Rewritten Message:** Hello, I have recently encountered problems with my [redacted] Ram [redacted]. After servicing, the Total Integrated Power module needed replacement, which seemed to be the only issue. However, upon picking up the vehicle, I was informed that the seatbelt and airbag lights would persist until the modules were replaced. Now, the vehicle constantly chimes about the driver not wearing the seatbelt with the dashboard lights still illuminated. This new issue was not present when I brought the vehicle in for service, and now it will cost an additional $[redacted]. I am disappointed with the response from the Dodge service center and believe Dodge should rectify the situation, as I feel the service department may have caused this problem. Thank you for your attention.

To Whom It May Concern, I am urgently requesting a call from Dodge leadership regarding an incident involving my [redacted] Dodge Durango Limited on November 18. While driving southbound on Interstate 74, I collided with a deer near [redacted] at 6:25 pm. The impact disabled my engine, causing a loss of control over the gas pedal and brakes. Despite having my cruise control set at 70mph, I was unable to stop due to the sudden brake failure. Furthermore, my airbags did not deploy, and multiple warning lights appeared on my dashboard. This incident, where my brakes failed, endangered my life. I am seeking a conversation to address this situation, discuss potential restitution, and explore options for vehicle replacement. Sincerely, Suzanne S. [redacted] [redacted]

I am a disabled veteran and advocate for veterans with disabilities. Over the years, I've achieved significant milestones, including establishing the first and only Vietnam American Legion Post [redacted]. I've been recognized in a book dedicated to me for my efforts in fighting for acknowledgment from the VA and achieving success for all veterans affected by chemical exposure. Due to my work in Naval Intelligence delivering bombing missions for two years and playing a role in stopping the use of Agent Orange in [redacted], I am now eligible for long-overdue medals. I have a vision for a personalized truck in [redacted], named the Ram Dak Legacy, as a tribute to my experiences and accomplishments. I am interested in a high-powered turbo truck with manual shift and customized options. I hope to discuss this with a representative to bring my ideas to life. Kindly contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Carl E. from Astor, Florida.

I own a [redacted] Dodge Grand Caravan that we purchased brand new and it currently has 34,[redacted] miles on it. I am a 52-year-old mother of a special needs child and rely on the van to take her to appointments. Unfortunately, the transmission failed on our way to my daughter's neurology appointment. With such low mileage, this breakdown should not have occurred. The Dodge dealership in Lillington, NC is quoting $4,[redacted] for a transmission rebuild or $6,[redacted] for a replacement, which I find exorbitant. I believe Dodge should cover this repair cost, as transmissions are expected to last much longer. We are in desperate need of getting this fixed but do not have the funds for such a major repair. We trusted Dodge as an American-made brand, given our preference for American vehicles for our family's safety, especially when driving our special needs daughter.

I bought a [redacted] Dodge Ram on April 14, [redacted], with only 9 miles on the odometer, paying in cash. Since April 17th, the rear sensors have been incorrectly detecting objects and abruptly engaging the brakes, putting me at risk. I have taken the truck to Crossroads Dodge in Liberty, Texas, six times to address this dangerous issue without a resolution. Despite contacting Dodge Customer Care starting in May, the problem persists. It is disappointing that Dodge has been aware of similar issues since [redacted] but continues to use defective parts. After speaking with a "premium specialist" for more than two months, a new "case manager" promised to send an engineer to fix the problem. However, I was recently told I must leave my truck at the dealership indefinitely and cover a rental vehicle at my own cost, which is financially challenging after investing $65,[redacted] in the truck. The proposed reimbursement timeline by Dodge does not alleviate my immediate financial strain, and I feel frustrated and disillusioned with this experience after being a loyal customer for over 50 years.
