I've had my **** SRT Dodge Challenger (current mileage *,***), in the shop a total of six days for the same problem...the radio. The dealership says it's my phone causing the problem but I don't buy it because my phone has worked perfectly, until recently, in the car and now the car decided not to respond to my phone. For example, my Spotify account suddenly stopped working after a year, I have premium, the radio screen won't show what song is playing, it will not automatically connect anymore, it will not advance songs anymore, or basically do anything it used to do. But it works fine with my little Tribit speaker because after all bluetooth is bluetooth. My usb works when it wants to and their excuse is that my cord has a short...well that is the fourth cord with a short. That is a **K car and I can't enjoy my music and it is still under warranty and I have an extended warranty. I believe they just don't want to fix it. I went to Verizon to see if there was something wrong with my phone and my thousand dollar phone is operating fine. I would clearly love some satisfaction since we have, I feel, stupidly bought six vehicles from this dealership in the past three years. There is also an issue with the recent calls selection taking you to the climate screen.
We have bought numerous vehicles and in fact ordered an new one today
REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE UNIT
I expect that a warranty should cover issues like things not properly working on the car and a new phone should pair with the radios in the new cars - you should not have to buy a car to fit your phone or buy a phone to fit your car that is ridiculous
