The issue in GetHuman-tomdigr's own words
I purchased a new **** Ram (new body style) crew cab a month ago. I live in Colorado. My old Ram **** had a hydraulic plow on it for my driveway and a small part of the neighborhood. I have been shopping for a new plow for the new truck. I have been told by two plow manufacturers that Dodge doesn't recommend a plow for the new **** but that the **** and **** are set up to accommodate a plow install. The reason they gave was that the forward frame rails on the **** are positioned at a ** degree angle (apparently for crumple zone enhancement) and that a plow undercarriage will impede crumple zone efficiency. **One would think that when you buy a *x* half ton pickup, that one could use it to plow. I wish I had been made aware of this problem as I might have gone to a Ford or Chevy. Instead, I have a new truck, which I really like, but that will not take care of the needs for which it was purchased. I'd honestly like to get my money back or trade it for a ****, similarly equipped (and receive the full purchase value).
GetHuman-tomdigr did not yet indicate what Dodge should do to make this right.
