I had issues with the bank providing the wrong account number and requests for my picture via fax, which has been unsuccessful. Now, I want to close my checking account due to the difficulties I faced when trying to get information about it. I haven't received my card yet, but have tried calling multiple times to resolve the faxing problem. I also need to stop my social security disability direct deposit and have the checks sent to my address. I have been a customer for 11 years without any prior issues but recently had a problem with a partial hold on a check deposit. I urgently need access to my funds to pay bills, rent, and other expenses. I am frustrated that my disability check is being held up. I request the bank to close my account, return my funds, and redirect the disability deposit to the correct address.

I recently had an issue with UPS returning my Direct Express Card for my Social Security Benefits. Despite showing my ID, the UPS delivery person insisted on a tracking number and sent the card back to the sender. According to the Direct Express card records, the card was sent to an address in Clarksdale, Texas, instead of Clarksdale, Mississippi. I need the card to be sent to [redacted] 6th Street, Apt. 17B, Clarksdale, MS [redacted]. I have been struggling to reach a live person to resolve this matter as there is no option in the automated system to speak to a representative.

In December, I withdrew $[redacted].00 from my card when the funds were first deposited on the 1st. When I tried to use my card again on the 3rd with the next check, I was instructed to contact Direct Express as stated in their letter. I called and was advised to email to resolve the issue before being able to use my account. Today, I am seeking assistance to rectify this situation promptly as I rely on these funds for January. I am currently not living at my previous address due to temporary reasons. I am now in New York City attending a funeral. Unfortunately, I lost my card during this time and it has caused some issues. I am unable to return to my friend's house where I was staying due to the funeral obligations. I have tried to contact SSI without success. I was a victim of electronic theft on October 30th. I contacted Direct Express, and initially, they expressed sympathy for my situation. However, it's now almost January 1st, and I have yet to see a credit to my account. I have been calling nearly every day, only to be directed to different representatives. When I do find someone who can assist me, they claim that I did not submit my paperwork within the required 10 days. I actually sent it after 18 days, but I have proof from the post office and records of my constant follow-up calls. I am hopeful that there is a competent person with the authority to review my case fairly and resolve this issue.

I contacted Direct Express today to report a lost card. I have two cards; one ending in [redacted], which I lost, and one ending in [redacted], which I still have. Unfortunately, after contacting them, they deactivated the card ending in [redacted] instead of the lost [redacted] card. I paid $17.00 to have the replacement card expedited in 2 days. My concern is whether Direct Express will stop the lost card (ending in [redacted]) and reactivate the one I still have (ending in [redacted]). I believe someone has gained access to my credit card information and other personal documents. They have impersonated me with my stolen identity and have even involved others in this fraudulent activity. Various cards, including vanilla cards with stored money, have been taken. The situation has escalated as they trash my home, make false claims about my whereabouts, and even physically attack me. The person claiming to be David is not who he says he is and I suspect he has also taken my phones and installed spyware on them. This has left me unable to access my emails and has caused a great deal of stress and danger to my well-being. I urgently need to speak with someone in person to address this situation and have those involved in these crimes apprehended.

My initial card was mistakenly delivered to the wrong address. It was sent to East Penn instead of West Pinchot. They confirmed delivery around November 27th, but after contacting them on December 22nd, they said a new card would be issued within 10 days. I thought I had lost my Direct Express card and ordered a replacement on December 17th or 18th, but then I found my wallet. Unfortunately, I lost it again by leaving it on top of my car and driving off. So, I ordered another replacement card on December 30th and paid for expedited delivery twice. However, when I log in to the Direct Express website, I see no updates on the second card's delivery. I am only getting tracking information for the first replacement card. My monthly funds and stimulus payment are on that card, and I'm unable to reach customer service for assistance.

I am experiencing an issue with my second stimulus payment. I receive my monthly SSI benefits through DIRECT EXPRESS. In May [redacted], I received my $[redacted] stimulus payment without any problems. However, on January 4, [redacted], I checked the IRS GET MY PAYMENT website and was told a direct deposit would be available on the same day. When I checked my DIRECT EXPRESS account, I did not see any deposit or pending transactions. I also noticed that the last four digits of the bank account listed for the deposit were different from mine. I have not made any changes to my banking information, filed taxes, or altered how I receive my SSI benefits. It seems like my payment may have been sent to the wrong account. I am unable to reach anyone at DIRECT EXPRESS or the IRS for assistance. Can someone please provide guidance on how to resolve this issue?

My replacement card is malfunctioning. I activated it around 8 pm on January 5th, and when I try to use it, the system says my last four digits are not valid. After trying again, it finally lets me proceed to the next menu. I've been trying to get help since 9 pm on the same day, and it seems like there's been a high call volume for hours. My brother, S. S., previously had a Direct Express account with his former representative payee, C. I. We suspect his stimulus check was sent to this account as he could use the card despite no funds being present. I, C. S., now represent S. S. and manage an account with M&T Bank. Our goal is to confirm if the check was deposited into the previous account and then move the funds to the new payee account. I attempted to contact customer service, but they stated there were no active cards for his SSN.

My card has been frozen, and although there is money on it since I was able to withdraw last week on January 4, [redacted], this week my funds were denied. I am having trouble getting it unfrozen. I have called, but was hung up on while being transferred to the department where they can help unfreeze the card. I was advised to contact Social Security to verify my information because there is no record on the system. I even offered to have a three-way conversation with Social Security, but was informed that unless my name and SS# are on the account, they can't assist further. This situation is frustrating to deal with once again.

I was on hold for 3 hours and 17 minutes yesterday, experiencing being hung up on twice, transferred to the wrong department twice, and finally disconnected after holding for an hour and 47 minutes for a manager. This morning, I called again and am still on hold due to a mistake on my account from a couple of months ago. I had been overcharged by a store and requested a reversal through you, only to be denied after a lengthy investigation. It's frustrating to spend so much time trying to correct an error that was not my own. The wait time is unbearable, the hold music is like torture, and the whole situation is unacceptable for a customer. I hope to resolve this soon without having to endure more days of waiting on the phone.

I discovered that my Direct Express card was returned with my February SSI payment. I have been trying to contact someone for several days without success. Each time I call, I receive the same automated message stating they are experiencing high call volumes. I have attempted to reach out right when they open, but I keep getting disconnected after hearing the message.
