I have a very important medical appointment **********. I paid direct express to have ups deliver the card. I tried calling direct express to get the ups tracking*. I'm being told the call volume is high and to call later. I've been calling for over * hrs. UPS can't get my delivery information without the tracking*, they can't locate my delivery with my address. I can't even ask that they drop... ... When my card was declined, I phoned direct express several times. I was told there was a high volume of calls and call later.** After more than ** attempts, I was transferred to an agent. I was told a company, who they can't identify, customer's cards were compromised. My card was cancelled. I was never notified. I had to pay for UPS to deliver my new card in * days, or I would have had to wait *-* business days for it to be delivered via USPS for free.** I fail to understand the unimportance of direct express card holders to the federal government. No notification of cards being cancelled is insulting and demeaning.Llate fees, the UPS delivery charge, and my grocery shopping delay are hardships
I was never notified that my card was no good. It took several hrs. on Friday to speak with an agent. Now, know people are in a serious predicament they still don't provide needed assistance. I feel I should call the US treasury dept. if a private institution is victimizing me* I shouldn't feel the US treasury dept. is ignoring me and keeping me uninformed about my ssdi funds.
They should contact me regarding issues about my funds, I shouldn't have to ask them what's happening to my funds and debit card. If the call volume is high, I should be able to leave a message. They also have my email address and could have communicated with me via email.
A good customer of what program? A good citizen all my life.
