You can also dispute a charge through the app. Once logged in, look up your ride under Your Trips, select the ride that you wish to dispute, then click "I would like a refund" and then select the reason for the refund request.
The issue in GetHuman-gunnyhwy's own words
I recently had an receiver go bad. It was * or * years old. Anyway I contacted support. The male understood my issue and stated that he would schedule a tech to come out. The appointment was over * month away. I explained to him that I just needed the receiver. The remote would no longer recognize it even after getting a new remote. He understood and said he would ship the new receiver. Three days later I had still not received confirmation of shipping. I called back and got a female that was extremely hard to understand. She said that there was no order pending noting nothing on my account about the previous contact. Again she says she understood and would ship the new receiver. Two days later, nothing, so I call for the third time with intention of dropping Durectv all together. The tech said I had an appointment now just under a month away. I told her that it was unacceptable and that I wanted to stop service. She promised that she would take care of my issue. We will see!!!*I did get an email stating that my service had changed,??? Further investigation revealed that my protection plan that was $*.** had changed to $**.**. All without my authorization or discussing anything in regards to it.* I really do not understand how a company like this survives. I believe they learned some bad habits from ATz&T who I dropped after ** years with them. Exactly for reasons like I've mentioned.
GetHuman-gunnyhwy did not yet indicate what DirecTV should do to make this right.
