After being a DirecTV customer for ** years my service went out. I called DirecTV to have it fixed and was told it would be * weeks before a tech could come to fix it. I felt this was unacceptable, canceled the service and went with Dish. On ****** I received a statement showing that I was due a credit for $**.** which I would receive a check for. I then received a box to return my equipment in which I did. A few weeks later I received a statement saying that I owe $***.**. That's $***.** for unreturned equipment minus the $**.** I am owed for a total of $***.**. On **-*-** at *:** pm I called DirecTV and talked to Fred and informed Him that the equipment was returned and I inquired about the $**.** I am owed. Fred told me He researched the matter and found the equipment was in the warehouse, and was not inventoried yet which is why I got the bill. He told me the $***.** charge for unreturned equipment would be removed from my account since DirecTV has the equipment due to the fact that I returned it. Fred also told me that I would receive a check for $**.** to close out the account. I never received the check, and I keep getting bills in the mail and on emails. I have called DirecTV numerous times to fix this and every time I call I am on the phone for an hour, and nothing gets resolved. I would like this matter resolved by once and for all getting this charge off my account and to receive my check for $**.** that is due me. Thank You Jim Landerkin *******-****
