I cancelled my Directv service because I was paying almost $****mo for one tv. My husband decided after a week and a half, that he could not live without tv, so we signed up again for a "Win-Back" promotional price of $***mo for service with a $**mo equipment fee, making our monthly bill right around $**. I received my first bill via email a couple of weeks later - it showed that I was going to owe $**!! I have called numerous times to try to get this situation resolved. Yesterday I spent * HOURS on the phone with about ** different representatives and got NOTHING resolved. I got mixed answers from the representatives - some saying, "yes, I can see that there was an error, but I don't have the access to fix that, let me send you to the proper department" and some basically telling me that I'm screwed. One even told me that the only way to fix this is to cancel my service and sign up again. I absolutely would not do this, because I can just see them tacking on an early-cancellation fee for going that route. No thank you. ****So my question is, Is there anyone that can fix this problem? Seems like no one cares and they just want to shove me off to a different department because they don't want to mess with it. I have tried all of the phone numbers I can find, for Headquarters, Corporate, etc.. I will NOT be calling the regular Customer Service number again, because there IS NO SERVICE. I am absolutely LIVID. It is not the customer's fault if they are signed up for the incorrect amount. I can't assist the phone representative from * continents away. Please let me know who I need to speak with to resolve this matter.
