I joined direct on August **th through my local Sam's club. At the time I was told that I would receive a *** dollar gift card for joining. A week after installation i received information in the mail that my account was ready to go. I called directv to get the details of when I would receive the gift card. The representative that I spoke with was very helpful and informed me that i could also receive a *** dollar Visa gift card in lieu of the *** dollar Walmart gift card. I was then told that the Visa gift card would arrive in *-* weeks and the walmart gift card would arrive in *-* weeks. I did receive the *** dollar gift card in about * weeks. So after about * weeks of not receiving the Walmart gift card I called and was told by Ashley that I would not be receiving the *** dollar Walmart gift card. I asked to speak to her supervisor a gentleman named Greg who was rude and not helpful in the least. He made me feel as if the situation was all my fault as I tried to explain to him that I never asked for the *** dollar gift card and that it was offered to me by a directv representative when I called in about my *** dollar Walmart gift card. You have to understand that if the directv representative explained that I could only receive one or the other, I would never take the lesser of the two! I dont feel as if I should have to suffer the loss because a representative of directv made a mistake. I feel at the very least a *** gift card should be granted.* I hope that this issue can be resolved quickly as I have been very patient. Thank you in advance.
