I want to know why direct tv increased the protection plan from $*.** to $*.** (and therefor the tax increased a few cents). Direct tv hasn’t offered anything new to justify this increase so therefore I don’t believe that this is a legal or lawful increase. The people at Directv have told me they sent a letter,or e-mail out telling about the increase. I didn’t receive notification either way. All I want to know anyways is, what is their justification in the increase as the protection plan hasn’t changed at all. So far I felt like I have been given the runaround as they can’t explain the reason why.

As directv couldn’t give me a good,reasonable answer for the increase, I just cancelled the service. Not only did I I save the $*.** raise but, I saved the whole charge of $*.**. That is the only recourse we have as consumers is to cancel the subscription.
