No reflection on you, DirecTV chat has always seemed to work fairly well but over all DirecTV customer service is the worse. I’m wanting to find out my accounts status and here is why I’m wondering***) Last week I was stood up *x by a DirecTV tech to have my service moved, I believe it was on Monday June * (my birthday) he came, after I had waited several hours for him but said it would have to be rescheduled because it needed to go on the roof and he didn’t have the “right” equipment.***) Next, it was rescheduled for Friday June * between noon and *pm, at *pm I got an automated call that said someone would be at my house by *:**, no one ever showed and I had to leave to go to work. Around *:** someone called and wanted to reschedule my install due to the fact I wasn’t home and the tech couldn’t find my apartment number, how could it be both? I wasn’t home (and I was) and he couldn’t find it? And it is not an apartment number it is a regular street address. At this point I was done, I cancelled my service.***) Next, on Monday June ** someone called me wanting to “help me” she said if I kept my service she would waive the install fee and discount my service to $** a month. At one point we were disconnected but she did call back. I said ok and as it went on and on, she finally said she and her supervisor couldn’t actually waive my install fee, but, if I call back it and tell whoever I get they could waive it… I said seriously? So, at this point we were ** or ** minutes into this call and I said you want me to call back in and just tell the person to waive my installation fee? I knew it would never happen. She said, well I could do a *-way call with you and I said that would be fine. I waited another ** minutes on hold, and about ** minutes into the wait the wait music stopped and it was dead silent for the remainder of the time I waited. I could tell from my cell phone we were still connected. I hung up at about ** minutes, she never called back, my service was never rescheduled to be installed and I have no idea what my status is.***) Next, Wednesday June ** I called in to see what my status was and the girl I talked to was beyond confused, I kept trying to explain and asking if there were any notes in my file and we went nowhere. About ** minutes into this call I asked for a supervisor, still confused she said ok and another ** minutes into the wait for the supervisor I hung up because no one ever came and the entire **-minute wait was a loop of DirecTV’s advertisement of “what’s your thing” which made it the most hideous wait I’ve ever encountered in my ENTIRE life!**So, as I said, I’m not very pleased with DirecTV’s customer service and I’m still wanting to know my status and if the terms the woman from Monday are going to be honored?
