My elderly parents had Direct TV employee(s) come to their home uninvited. They were told they were there to may the system better for them. At the time they had Dish. My ** year old Dad let them "better" his system and signed something which was apparently a contract with Direct TV. They finally figured out something was different when the channels didn't match. Sent the equipment back and now the account has been turned over to IC systems for collection. The problem from the beginning was that this was not asked for and it was not made clear to a ** year old exactly what was happening. My Dad has some dementia and my mother was not present.
GetHuman-garybeck did not yet indicate what DirecTV should do to make this right.
