I ordered a parcel from an internet store. The parcel was delivered by Deutsche Post AG. Unfortunately I have no idea to whom the parcel was delivered, as it was certainly not the recipient. The tracking information LZ*********CN and RD*********DE. When my sister inquired at the local post office in Kelkheim, Germany armed with the tracking numbers she was told that they could not help her as the sender had to instigate an investigation. After numerous international calls and a lot of garbled information (as I am in Australia and do not speak german) I have been told that I am not the sender of the parcel, merely the idiot that paid for everything and I must get China post, as the sender of the parcel to start the enquiry. I am so frustrated.**I am not receiving any help from the online store - they say that they have proof that the parcel has been delivered and that is that. **Surely I am regarded as the sender of the parcel - is this really the law in Germany to insist that the carrier is the only "person" involved that is allowed to know to whom a parcel has been delivered?
