My husband and I are embarking on a journey to Alaska with a land/sea trip, commencing with Delta flight [redacted] from Las Vegas to Seattle on June 12th, followed by a flight to Fairbanks on flight [redacted]. My husband uses a mobility device, the Airwheel S8 Segway Style scooter, due to his handicap. Both Jet Blue and Southwest have granted us permission to bring the scooter, and I have written confirmation. I kindly ask Delta for the same permission, as it's uncommon to see an 82-year-old man on this type of scooter, to avoid any potential delays. The scooter's 260wh battery falls under the [redacted] watt hours limit, with a protective housing and design to prevent accidental activation. It weighs 20 lbs and can be easily stored in the plane's cargo at the gate. While my husband can walk onto the plane, I carry manuals and letters from Jet Blue and Southwest for reference and would appreciate a letter or email of approval from Delta. Thank you. Sheila and Joe Siino

Hello, we traveled from Pensacola, Florida back to Ottawa, Canada on February 6, [redacted]. The weather caused delays on all three of our flights through Pensacola, Atlanta, and Toronto. Despite the challenges, my wife and I were pleased with the assistance from Delta in getting us home. To our relief, the representative in Pensacola helped us get on standby for an earlier flight after our initial delay. This enabled us to catch our connecting flight in Atlanta to Toronto even though that flight was also delayed, resulting in a total trip time of over 12 hours to Ottawa. The Delta team members were friendly, efficient, and showed great care throughout the journey. We are now considering Delta for our future travels. Thank you - R&D Staynor

I will be flying to Portland from Madison, Wisconsin in April with my ESA dog. I currently have a carrier for her, but I am considering purchasing a larger one. The dimensions of the new carrier I am looking at are 20 inches long, 13 inches wide, and 13 inches high. I plan to book a seat with extra legroom for more comfort. My dog will mainly be on my lap during the flight, but I want the flexibility to put her in the carrier, which is a soft shell. Please confirm if these dimensions meet the airline's requirements before I make the purchase.

Hello, I prefer flying with Delta above all other airline companies due to its comfort and affordability. I had a situation recently that led me to cancel my planned trip to MN for Valentine's Day during the All Star Weekend in Chicago. My ex-girlfriend confessed on Tuesday that she had been cheating on me with someone else since before Olean. She had even told the other person she loved him just two weeks later and had been intimate with him since then. Despite this, she had involved me in Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family, which is significant for Polish families. Given these circumstances, I won't be visiting MN for quite some time. I usually don't cancel or miss flights, but this was the only reason I had for going there. I canceled my flights in the hope of receiving some credit back.

We have a trip booked for March 3, [redacted] from Baltimore to Delhi through Rome. Despite the lack of earlier notification, the coronavirus travel advisory now applies to all airports in Italy. Attempting to follow the advisory's instructions by making changes on Delta's website was unsuccessful. After contacting Delta, we were placed on a call back list and eventually spoke with a representative named Bernard. Bernard initially was resistant to changing our routing without additional payment, but after insistence, begrudgingly checked for other options. When we expressed our desire to explore alternatives rather than be met with resistance, Bernard abruptly ended the call. This experience with Bernard was disappointing and lacked professionalism.

I am sharing an update regarding the cancellation of the flight for me and my spouse due to the cancellation of the World Cup of Cross-Country Skiing event. The MWC2020 event has been officially canceled, causing inconvenience to us. The organizers are working on negotiating terms related to hotel deposits, aiming to preserve the value of the deposits for future stays in Cogne hotels. Even if negotiations on the lodging deposits are not successful, a refund is assured from the OC for additional pre-payments made towards the hotel bills. The majority of the total amounts paid will be refunded; however, the process may be a bit complicated. I will provide further updates on the exact refund details next week.

I have three clients who purchased three NON REFUNDABLE tickets for an exhibition in Dusseldorf that was canceled due to the corona virus on orders of the German government. The clients are requesting a FULL refund based on "force majeure." I have backup letters from the exhibition confirming the cancellation by the German government. One of the clients, Mr. Daniel F., is a lawyer and is aware of their legal right to a refund in this situation. The clients are Delta frequent flyers with ticket numbers [redacted]-[redacted], [redacted]-[redacted], and [redacted]-[redacted]. The tickets were bought through a travel agent, and I have not cancelled them yet, pending further instructions.

Sky Miles #[redacted]: Hello, I have a flight scheduled for today from HNL to LAX and then from LAX to DTW. I initially experienced a 4+ hour wait time when I tried to call back, and after already waiting for 3 hours, it still shows a 4-hour wait time. I am dealing with a recurring illness that can be easily spread. Due to the current circumstances, I believe it is not safe for me to travel with others, especially through California, given the State of Emergency declaration. I am a senior over 65 with a weakened immune system. Could you please rebook me on a flight later this week that does not pass through LAX? I have reserved Comfort+ seats for today. Kindly advise me as soon as possible. Thank you.

Dear Team, I manage the USA Olympic Judo account for athletes who travel from all over the country to tournaments worldwide. Recently, the International Judo Federation Tournament in Morocco was canceled due to the Coronavirus, affecting the travel plans of Coach Justin Flores and Athlete Colton Brown. I have attached the official cancellation notice and the two tickets that needed to be canceled. As you may be aware, the USA Olympics rely on private donations, not government funding. I kindly request a waiver on the ticket penalties for Coach Flores and Athlete Brown when reissuing the tickets. Your understanding and assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. We have a trip planned from April 1 to May 1 to Amsterdam, but most of our trip is in France, where President Macron has declared a Covid-19 epidemic. Being in our 70s puts us at high risk for the disease and its negative effects. A portion of our ticket was bought with points, and about $1,[redacted] was paid in cash. This trip marked our 50th anniversary. If we can't get a refund or make an exchange, we won't have the funds to reschedule. We are mindful of the advisory for older travelers regarding international trips due to the current situation. Could you kindly provide guidance on obtaining a refund or credit with minimal cancellation charges? Thank you.

I booked a trip from BNA to Osaka, Japan, departing on March 31 and arriving on April 1. I was notified of flight changes, leading to a layover issue in Honolulu and the deletion of my KIX portion. While trying to resolve this with customer support, I discovered no Delta flights from Osaka on April 7, my return date to the US. After a frustrating 4-hour callback wait, I was abruptly hung up on. I urgently need clarification on my trip status to decide if I should cancel or reschedule. My non-refundable ticket complicates matters, and if I don't get answers soon, I may have to involve my traveler insurance. Time is running out on canceling accommodations and my JR Pass is on its way. I seek prompt resolution to adjust my work vacation days or seek alternative travel options.

I will be traveling with my two children on April 16th from Mumbai to Seoul on Delta flight [redacted], then continuing to LA on Delta flight [redacted]. Our reservation number is GY9DBB. Korean Airways sent me an email about a flight change to depart from Bangkok instead of Mumbai to Seoul. There seems to be confusion as well regarding the Seoul-LA flight. I have been trying to reach Delta for assistance in changing our flights without success. I am located in India with the number +[redacted]72. Kindly reach out to me to discuss alternative options for our journey. Thank you. Maria K.

I seek advice on an upcoming trip. My wife and I have a flight booked (Conf # HCP9JN) from FLL to DTW on 4/14. Both in our 80's with health issues, I am on Chemotherapy for Cancer and she has respiratory concerns. Considering the spread of the Coronavirus, we wonder if changing our flight for a sooner date with no extra charges is possible due to our health conditions. We've already rebooked once, ending up with economy seats instead of our original Main Cabin. Despite the advanced seating our rep arranged, we feel uneasy about the virus and potential Florida restrictions. Also, we'd like to know if leaving the 3rd seat in our row vacant on any flight is feasible. This virus has us concerned about who we may be seated next to. These are unprecedented times, and we appreciate any assistance. Sincerely, R&E Tell

I need assistance with my altered flight itinerary from Japan to America, which has impacted my connecting flight to Jamaica. My flight confirmation number is G3GXLE, and my name is Shonice A. I was originally scheduled to depart from Narita Airport to Atlanta on the 25th and then onward to Jamaica. However, my new itinerary now requires me to leave from Haneda Airport to Minneapolis, then on to Atlanta. Unfortunately, this change means I will miss my connecting flight from Atlanta to Jamaica.

I made a reservation through Travelocity for a trip from Las Vegas, NV to Seattle, WA on March 20-22. Now, the representative says I should contact Delta. I'm an 80-year-old passenger with a flight from GSO through Atlanta to PHX on March 18. I'm concerned about the coronavirus because many are canceling flights. I feel anxious and unsure of what to do. Is there a safer way for me to reach PHX? I have a two-hour layover in the Atlanta airport. As a breast cancer survivor, I'm worried and plan to consult my doctor. I'm facing pressure from others advising me against travel, and I have a nonrefundable ticket. Assistance appreciated, Lundee A.

Hello, I made a flight reservation with Delta Airlines through lastminute.com for April 28th from Perentola Airport in Florence to LAX in Los Angeles with a layover in CDG (France). I am unsure about traveling to Paris-LA during the coronavirus pandemic in Italy, even though my region is not under quarantine nor classified as a 'Red Zone.' If travel is not advisable, would the flight be canceled? Thank you for your prompt response. Best regards, Alessia Zuppardi

I tried to book a family trip online with Delta. Everything was smooth until it came to payment, which didn't go through. I called and spoke with a helpful representative who provided me with a confirmation number. However, I was later told at the airport in Bonaire that payments could not be processed for tickets, only for checked bags. Now I need to cancel the flight as we are coordinating with a local travel agent, but the seats in our desired class are no longer available. I am unable to cancel the existing confirmation online, and reaching a Delta representative over the phone is time-consuming. I have been on hold for 45 minutes now, despite being initially informed that the wait would be no more than 20 minutes.
