Hello, I am in need of your assistance. Recently, my flight scheduled for 6th March from Panama City, Florida, to Atlanta has been updated to arrive at 16.47 instead of the original 16.30. Subsequently, my husband and I have a connecting flight with Virgin to Heathrow at 17.50, making it seems unlikely that we will make the connection. I am worried that any delay will cause us to miss our next flight. Could you please check if there is an earlier flight available without incurring high fees? Our current budget cannot accommodate the price difference for a change. We are currently on holiday in Florida, and having to deal with this issue could potentially ruin our time here. I appreciate any help you can provide. Looking forward to your response. Best regards, Debra Gyte Booking reference: GMG3QL Passengers: John Gyte and Debra Gyte Flight [redacted] Date: 3/6/19 Departure time: 14.35

Reason for Refund Request: Flight Cancellation I was booked on flight DL [redacted] scheduled for 5:00 AM. However, Delta informed me of the first delay at 2:00 AM, pushing the departure to after 7:00 AM. Subsequently, the delay was prolonged multiple times: first to past 9:00 AM, then past 11:00 AM, and then even further because they needed a part flown in from Detroit, resulting in a delay past 2:00 PM for the fifth time. Exhausted after being kept waiting for 12 hours, I decided to head home for my well-being. It seemed like the flight never took off after all these schedule changes. I believe Delta significantly disrupted my plans by manipulating the schedule for over 12 to 14 hours, ruining my carefully planned vacation. Writing this, I hope to convey the frustration I experienced, as perhaps even this message might be more sympathetic to my ordeal than the airline representatives.

My name is Milgrid Guzman and I wanted to share a recent troubling experience my family and I encountered on flight [redacted] from Kingston, Jamaica, to JFK New York. We arrived at the airport at 6am, after waking up at 4am with my two daughters, aged 9 and 6, and my husband. The check-in process was delayed by over 2 1/2 hours due to crew members running behind schedule. Once on board, we faced issues like a strange smell from a bathroom fixed with tape, followed by a hot and uncomfortable cabin. The delay persisted as engineers tried to fix the air conditioning. A pilot later informed us of a cockpit issue, leading to the plane being evacuated. We have now been waiting at the terminal for the next flight, initially scheduled for 3pm but now delayed further. The food vouchers provided seem insufficient given the ordeal. I believe I should be compensated for the troubles we faced due to crew tardiness and unsafe conditions. Thank you, Milgrid Guzman

On February 4th, I traveled from JFK to LAX in First Class on a fully paid ticket. Unfortunately, upon seating, the flight attendant accidentally spilled a tray of drinks (orange juice and champagne) on my Louis Vuitton purse, which contained my laptop and phone. This resulted in liquid damage to my electronics and a stain on my purse. The crew was apologetic, and I received 5,[redacted] Delta points immediately. However, the damage is significant and cannot be fixed. I kindly request a flight refund, Delta credit, or an additional 10,[redacted] points to help cover the damages. My Delta customer number is #[redacted].

Hello, I have a flight scheduled in 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, my father recently passed away, and I need to stay here, so I won't be able to make my flight. I attempted to cancel it through the app, but it informed me to contact 1-[redacted]. I have been trying to reach this number for over 2 hours, but each callback ends abruptly after I confirm my availability. This has become frustrating as I've requested multiple call-backs without success. Given the circumstances of losing my dad, dealing with this flight cancellation has been an added stress. I'm reaching out via email with the hope of successfully canceling my flight and receiving flight credit for a future trip. Thank you, Katie Y.

My recent flights from Austin to Atlanta and Atlanta to Cincinnati had seating issues, disrupting my family's plan to sit together. Originally, we booked a direct flight from Austin to Cincinnati, but it was changed to connecting flights through Atlanta later. Despite speaking to a Delta agent to ensure our seats were together, the ongoing flight changes caused chaos. This experience was frustrating, especially for my 87-year-old mother-in-law. The gate agent in Austin also offered [redacted] miles to volunteers checking their bags due to limited plane space. My wife and I participated, but we have not received the promised miles in our accounts. Considering these mishaps, I am considering switching to American, Southwest, or United for future travel as Delta's service has been disappointing. Disappointed loyal Delta passenger, Robert Huber.

I experienced a flight cancellation with Air Canada on 28th January [redacted] due to bad weather, leading me to book a Delta flight departing at 8:25 pm from Toronto to New York LaGuardia for a connecting flight to Kingston at 1 am. Despite Delta boarding at 9:30 pm, the flight departed late at 11:30 pm without prior notice, causing me to miss my connecting flight and an important exam. This resulted in financial loss and wasted efforts. I am seeking a refund as I would not have boarded the flight if informed of the delay, preventing me from booking another flight to Kingston. I find the lack of communication and punctuality unprofessional.

Thank you for considering Delta for your upcoming trip from MSP to BGO. My wife and I are looking to travel on 8/25/[redacted] and return on 9/6/[redacted]. We noticed that the flights we were interested in have increased by $[redacted] on delta.com over the past three days. Would it be possible to assist us in finding a more affordable option for this special trip to Norway? We appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you, Lee H.

Hello, my name is Rashmin. I experienced a flight cancellation from YXE to AMD on February 21st. The airline did not inform me about the cancellation, causing a 4-hour wait at the airport. Eventually, they booked me on a flight 24 hours later with no accommodation or food provided. When I tried to board the connecting flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, the seats were not confirmed. Despite speaking to staff, the issue was not resolved. This was a frustrating experience, and I seek justice. I hope to avoid any problems on my return flight with the same airline. Thank you.

I would like to acknowledge the fantastic service provided by Monique Jasper, a great agent I had the pleasure of dealing with. Earlier this week, I booked tickets online for a special trip with my daughter under the impression that I was connected to Delta. However, it turned out I was speaking to a different agent working with Air France through Faremart. Feeling unsure about the situation, I called Delta to confirm my reservation on Thursday morning. Monique patiently listened to my concerns and attempted to access the reservation in the system but faced difficulties. She took the initiative to speak with a supervisor to investigate further. During this time, I came across a concerning review about another individual who had been scammed by a similar situation. Monique continued to escalate the issue until it was determined to be a scam by the supervisor. With Monique’s diligence, she managed to remove the unauthorized entry in the system that Faremart had made. Following her recommendation, I contacted my credit card company to cancel the card as a precaution against potential fraud. Monique then successfully rebooked our trip to France, ensuring that my daughter and I can travel hassle-free. Her exceptional customer service and attention to detail truly made a difference, and I am grateful for her assistance.

On February 12, [redacted], a group of six people including Cynthia Ciesla and her husband, William Ciesla, booked a Delta Vacation package from DTW to ATL. Due to delays caused by icing issues, they missed their connecting flight to Punta Cana. After several unsuccessful attempts to get on a standby flight on Tuesday, they had to cover the cost of staying in a motel overnight. Eventually, four members managed to fly from ATL to JFK and then to Punta Cana on February 13, while the other two got a flight out on the same day. Cynthia is now seeking reimbursement for the missed day at the resort and other expenses due to the inconvenience caused by the flight delays. She is unsure of the next steps to take and is eager to discuss this matter further with a representative. The additional members of the party affected by the delay are Stacy Ciesla, Cheryl Gawel, Jennifer Krause, and Brian Krause, who were all part of the same booking.

I need assistance with obtaining an eCredit for a recently canceled flight due to medical reasons. I purchased a flight for a business trip, where the cost would be reimbursed by my employer. Despite not opting for the cheapest fare, I chose a refundable option in case of emergencies, expecting a $[redacted] cancellation fee. Unfortunately, a medical emergency occurred as I sustained a severe foot injury, rendering me unable to travel. After canceling my flight (Ticket #[redacted][redacted]), Delta provided a refund receipt reflecting $0, which is concerning as my work will not reimburse me under these circumstances. Since relocating to the USA 2.5 years ago, I have been a loyal Delta customer. It is disheartening to discover now that the supposedly refundable flight is not eligible for a refund. My husband frequently flies with Delta, and we have accumulated miles using Delta credit cards, but this incident has eroded my confidence. I kindly request Delta to issue an eCredit amounting to $[redacted].60 ($[redacted].60 flight - $[redacted] cancellation fee) and also clarify how I can verify the refundability of future flight purchases more effectively.

My son and his friend are currently in Cuba and have encountered issues with using their credit and debit cards. They were unaware that American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and debit cards are not accepted in Cuba. They are running low on cash and are considering returning earlier than planned. They would like to know if it's possible to change their flight to Monday or Tuesday. Additionally, they are wondering if they can access Cuban money from their debit cards or use a credit card to obtain Cuban pesos. This situation has caught them off guard, and they are seeking solutions to this common problem faced by travelers in Cuba.

Hello, I am seeking to clarify my situation and would like to request to speak with the manager, please. I had purchased 2 flight tickets from Miami to Havana, Cuba, with 2 return tickets to Miami under order number GKGKAP. The initial flight I scheduled is on March 31, with the return flight to Miami set for April 8. Upon booking, I was confused about the return date and now wish to change it to April 9 at the same time. I have noticed available seats on flight DL527 at the same price. Despite being informed about high change fees during our previous conversation, I find it unreasonable to incur such costs for a simple mistake resulting from confusion. I could easily purchase new tickets from a different airline at the same price. It is my hope that we can reach a mutually satisfactory resolution without the initial lack of empathy I encountered. Thank you in advance. Sincerely, Naama

On February 5, [redacted], my credit card was charged $2,[redacted] for agent fee [redacted][redacted] travel services to rebook four tickets for a last-minute change in travel plans from Fargo to Seattle for Taylor Dowsley, Kari, Forbes, and Samuel Dowsley. Following a call from customer service, I was informed that the charge should not have been processed, which was a relief. Despite checking my credit card transactions, I did not see the reimbursement reflected. To my surprise, the Visa bill arrived with the charge still on it. Unfortunately, I no longer have the direct contact information provided earlier and am seeking assistance to resolve this promptly. Thank you for your support. - Kari

Hello, Medallion Number [redacted]. I have a reservation for 4 adults traveling from JFK to LHR with booking code H7PAG5. Our return trip is scheduled as JFK to DTX on Flight DL2766, followed by DTX to LHR on Flight DL18. The layover time between the connections is only 34 minutes. I am worried that this might not be enough time to change planes and board the one to LHR. I fear we could miss our connecting flight to LHR due to any flight delays or issues at DTW security. Please provide your guidance. Thank you, Lee P.

I need assistance with my flight bookings. I accidentally booked two flights and I now need to cancel one and potentially modify the other one. I currently reside in Mexico and I am unable to call the [redacted] number from my US iPhone. Thank you.

During my Christmas trip last year, I encountered multiple issues on my journey back home to Costa Rica. Firstly, I experienced two delayed connections which put my international flight in jeopardy. However, the most frustrating part was at the check-in for my return flight to Costa Rica at VPS with agent, Pamela. Despite having my residency application, I was asked for a return ticket to the US due to not having residency in Costa Rica yet. I ended up purchasing a non-refundable $[redacted] one-way ticket under the impression it was refundable as advised by my residency attorney. After a series of missed flights and additional expenses, I contacted customer service to cancel the ticket, only to discover it was indeed non-refundable. This left me feeling extremely upset. I attempted to submit a complaint on Delta's website, but encountered technical difficulties. It seems there are some issues with Delta's system or training procedures. I am seeking a refund for the ticket purchased under the belief it was refundable, as informed by Pamela at VPS. The confirmation number for the disputed ticket is F6DF2I. I kindly request a prompt resolution to this matter.

Hello, I have a special request for my wife and daughters. Would a flight attendant or even the pilot be able to share a message with them? They are currently on Delta flight #[redacted] from Omaha, NE with a connection in Minneapolis, MN on their way to Portland, Oregon on Delta #[redacted]. "My dearest Brandie, Payton, and Kensley Campbell, Do you know what I love most about your Dad? As I awoke today, I sent a heartfelt prayer your way. Hoping for your forgiveness, For my faults that oft betray. I prayed for a love to embrace you, A love both steadfast and true. A love eternal and strong, Like my everlasting love for you. My thoughts reached out to those you cherish, And to those who hold you dear. I prayed you glimpse the vibrant sky, Its infinite beauty, crystal clear. My prayers wafting with the breeze, Ascending with utmost ease. Words of solace from our home, Whispered with a gentle tone. I pledge a prayer each day, For joy to come what may. Hoping happiness you'll find, In every moment, every kind. Wishing you a delightful vacation in Portland. With love, Dad (RJ Campbell)"

I, Hannah H., recently experienced a series of flight delays while traveling from Rhinelander, WI to Las Vegas, NV with a connection in MSP. Despite my efforts to make a tight connection with only 15 minutes between flights, I arrived at my gate only to find the doors had closed. I was then rebooked on a later flight, leading to a shortened visit with my parents. Although I understand the impact of weather delays, the sequence of events and the feeling of being brushed off by the staff have left me disappointed. Despite being told I might make the flight if I reached the gate before departure, I was not allowed to board. This situation has soured my view of Delta, especially as a gold card member, and I am now hesitant to book with them again.
