Issue one: My husband and I fly round trip to AZ from NY every winter. Through no fault of our own, last year we got sick and had to change our flight plans. I was appalled at the price gouging of the tickets. We had to pay more than double our original tickets with a delay of one week. In addition, The telephone representative was rude and discourteous. *Issue two: The food service ran out of food by the time they reached our seats. My husband *is an insulin-dependent diabetic and this put his health in jeopardy. *Issue three: I requested a wheelchair since I travel with wheelchair assistance and no *wheelchair was available upon my deboarding the plane. *Overall, this travel experience was so negative and stressful that I never wanted to fly Delta again. However, since this is now the only airline offered by my local airport, I have no choice. I feel that we should be compensated with at least complementary tickets for our inconvenience and mistreatment.
