During my recent flights to and from Hawaii, I encountered issues with the Entertainment Systems at my seat. I believe that Delta needs to address and rectify these problems promptly to ensure other passengers do not face the same inconvenience. Furthermore, I am disappointed that I did not have access to movies on my flight from Atlanta to Hawaii, despite the flight attendant's attempts to resolve the issue. On the return journey from Hawaii to Atlanta, while I could view movies, I was unable to hear the sound due to a faulty female adapter for the headphones. I hope that Delta can improve their service on their aircraft for a better customer experience.

Due to a family loss, my children and I had to fly to Nairobi urgently on November 28th for a funeral. While en route, we made a stop in London to visit my ailing grandad, who unfortunately passed away shortly after our visit. Despite my daughter Kavi Patel's passport being valid until May 8th, [redacted], for Delta's flight to London, KLM refused her passage on November 30th to Nairobi, stating her passport needed over six months of validity. This unexpected turn of events forced me to leave my daughter in London temporarily, making it to Nairobi just in time for the funeral. Although burdensome, the additional expenses incurred for alternative travel arrangements were unforeseen and beyond my budget. I kindly request Delta to consider a refund or voucher as a gesture of understanding during these challenging times. Thank you, Shreya

Due to a family emergency, my children and I had to travel urgently to Nairobi after a loss. During the trip, my daughter Kavi Patel faced passport issues that delayed our journey. Despite explaining the situation to KLM, they did not allow her to fly with us due to passport validity requirements. This led to a series of challenges and added expenses as we had to arrange for emergency documents at the US Embassy in London. The ordeal caused a lot of stress, especially as we were also dealing with another family loss. We had to split up temporarily, with my daughter staying in London while my son and I flew to Nairobi for the funeral. I had to make additional flights to reunite with my daughter and return home, spending more than planned. I am kindly requesting Delta to consider a refund or voucher due to the circumstances we faced. Thank you for understanding, Shreya.

We missed our flight [redacted] from New York to San Francisco due to a significant delay at the security line, despite arriving at the airport more than 2 hours early on December 11, [redacted]. Our belongings had already gone through the conveyor belt, but two security officers spent over an hour checking two suitcases that belonged to passengers ahead of us. We asked to switch lines, but they refused. Finally, a new officer arrived and allowed us through after a brief check, instructing us to run to the gate. By the time we got there, the plane had departed. We had to rebook our flight with Delta at a cost of $[redacted].20, which we believe was unfair. Delta should refund this fee promptly, as it was beyond our control. Charging two seniors for circumstances like these is inconsiderate. Kindly refund $[redacted].20 to our credit card to resolve this matter quickly and prevent further escalation. Thank you.

I'm Tina Chaney, a combat veteran dealing with PTSD who frequently travels to Japan due to being in the Reserves. I recently encountered an issue on my flight on December 11, [redacted], from Atlanta to Narita (Flight [redacted]). Due to my condition, I require assistance to relax, either through sleeping medication or alcohol. During this flight, I requested beer in a controlled manner. Unfortunately, a female flight attendant implied I should slow down, which left me upset and sleepless during the journey. I'd like an apology for the incident and possibly an upgrade on my return flight to Detroit on 12/21. It's crucial that I am not judged for the number of drinks I request as long as I'm responsible. All I seek is understanding and maybe a bulkhead window seat.

On December 11, [redacted], my wife and I were flying from New York (JFK) to San Francisco (SFO) on flight [redacted] scheduled for 11:25 AM. Unfortunately, we experienced significant delays at the security line, exceeding an hour. Although we arrived at the airport more than two hours before the flight, due to the delay, we missed our plane. While our belongings had already gone through the conveyor belt, two security officers repeatedly checked two suitcases belonging to passengers ahead of us. Despite our requests to switch lines, we were not allowed by the officers. When a new security officer intervened, we were finally able to proceed after a long wait. We were instructed to run to catch our flight, but upon arrival at the gate, the plane had already departed. As an 81-year-old traveler accompanied by my elderly wife, we struggled to make it to the gate in time. We were then left to rebook our flight with Delta, who charged us $[redacted].20 for unforeseen circumstances that were beyond our control. Delta should reconsider this charge given the situation.

I arrived at my domestic flight an hour early and spoke to the gate agent who reassured me I had plenty of time. After confidently waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I was informed I missed the cutoff time by 6 minutes and couldn't check my bag or board. Despite the prior assurance from a supervisor, Delta couldn't rebook my flight or offer any compensation for my fees. I am requesting a full refund for my checked bag and online wifi fees. Ideally, I would like a credit for the missed flight, especially since the Delta representative allowed others to go ahead due to upcoming flights.

My new Samsonite suitcase was severely damaged during my recent flight with Delta Airlines on Dec 17, [redacted]. I have the receipt for the $80 purchase and photos clearly showing the damage. Additionally, I am missing an important item: an 18" black rubber square base of a college softball tee, which was lost at the North checkpoint on my departure date of Dec 5, [redacted]. I have contacted the Cleveland airport lost and found without success. I need assistance with these issues promptly as I am scheduled to fly again soon and require a replacement suitcase. During my medical trip, I had arranged for wheelchair assistance. The service was provided from the Dominican Republic to Atlanta. Unfortunately, upon arrival in Atlanta, I was asked to leave the plane without a wheelchair. While carrying my suitcase, I had to walk to an area by an elevator which caused my sutures to burst. A wheelchair attendant approached, saw my condition, but still instructed me to keep walking. I struggled to move, needing support from a man nearby. Eventually, other agents noticed and came to my aid. It turned out the initial agent had probably mistaken me for someone else who was on vacation and too tired to walk.

Hello, I am ziyan song. I recently flew on Delta flight DL3489 from CAE to Atlanta. Due to weather conditions, our flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to Shanghai, DL185. I approached the service desk for assistance, and they rebooked my tickets for me, which I am grateful for. However, I encountered a problem with the customer service representatives. I felt that I was treated unfairly and experienced injustice at the service desk. While other customers were offered free accommodations due to the flight delay, I was not given the same option. I understand that the weather is out of anyone's control, including mine, but I believe all customers should be treated equally in such situations. I felt discriminated against and disappointed by the service I received today, which was not reflective of my previous positive experiences with Delta. I hope to receive a response from Delta regarding this matter. Thank you for your attention.

Hello, my name is Judy H. We had a flight booked with Delta through Orbitz, itinerary number [redacted][redacted] and airline confirmation number HYL95Y. We cancelled the flight on Nov. 29th due to illness and received a Flight Credit Voucher from Delta for $[redacted].02. Today, I contacted Orbitz to rebook our flight to Cabo San Lucas (SJD) for Jan. 26th - Feb. 2nd, [redacted]. They informed me about additional costs totaling $[redacted] for rebooking and flight changes. After researching online, I found a non-stop flight priced at $[redacted].47 (before taxes) for the 26th. I am seeking clarification on the charges as the new flight seems considerably more expensive than expected. While I understand there are additional fees, I am unsure about the total cost. We had initially paid $[redacted].51 per passenger with an added $[redacted] for Travel Protection, yet to be utilized. Any help in understanding these costs and exploring options with the credit voucher would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

Today, I received a call from a customer support supervisor named Keshia in Dallas Ft Worth. She explained she needed to change my seat due to a handicapped passenger. I agreed if my wife could still sit next to me due to her panic attacks. However, Keshia said there was nothing she could do. I requested to speak to a manager but was told there was no one available. After some persistence, she mentioned two brand advisors, Felicia Webster and Yolanda Hines, but provided no contact information. As someone with nearly 39 years of management experience, I felt disappointed by the lack of assistance and options given. I suggested solutions like moving us together in comfort plus or finding alternate arrangements, but Keshia only focused on changing my seat. I hope someone with real decision-making authority can call me to address our needs promptly. My confirmation number is JNZ27Z and my wife's is JNZ8CN, and our names are Destry Warren and Daliah Warren.

I have never claimed any benefits from Delta. I have over 1.5 million air miles available and a lifetime Gold status. I am considering retiring and would like to know what rewards are still available to me. Despite being happy with Gold status, I am aware of the growing number of Platinum flyers. I prefer comfort aisle seats and have a long history with Delta, flying since the early days in Salt Lake. I will be retiring at the end of [redacted] with fond memories of the friends I made in the Crown Room. Many of them have passed away, and I miss the closeness we once shared. Delta has been a significant part of my life, and I hope they remember loyal customers like me who have been with them for a long time. Norm L.

During my trip to North Carolina, my flight was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight in Atlanta with my daughter and grandkids. Despite being told there were no flights to Puerto Rico for a week, an agent rerouted us to Chicago where we were put on standby. This stressful situation had my grandkids scared and crying. We ended up having to spend the night at the airport instead of accepting a voucher for a hotel due to unsettling information about a nearby hotel. Delta's communication and assistance were lacking, and the overall experience was chaotic and disheartening. My name is Nancy Colon, and my flight details were Delta [redacted] from Raleigh-Durham.

My son and daughter-in-law traveled from LAX to SAT on December 24, [redacted], and unfortunately, one of their bags did not make it on the flight. They were informed that the bag would be delivered to their home by 9 PM the same day. However, the bag did not arrive as promised, and we all went to sleep. At 1 AM on Christmas Day, we were woken up by a phone call from the delivery person, stating they were 15 minutes away from our house. Although I understand that luggage can get lost, I was extremely frustrated that someone would think it's acceptable to disturb our sleep on Christmas morning for a lost bag delivery. I had to get up, get dressed, drive to the gated entry of our neighborhood, sign for the bag, and retrieve it. This whole situation was truly disappointing, unacceptable, and a terrible display of customer service. As a result, I have decided not to fly with Delta again in the future.

I arrived in SLC on December 29th via flight DL249 from CDG, but my checked bag did not make it with me. I reported the issue to the DL office and received reference number SLCDL49595. Fortunately, my bag was delivered to me on December 30th at 8:15 am, albeit 19 hours late. However, upon inspection, I discovered significant damage including bent zipper pulls, a broken zipper holder, a broken wheel corner, and a broken stud. This marks the third time in my last four international flights that DL has misplaced my luggage. Had I retrieved my bag upon arrival, I could have reported the damage immediately, but the late delivery prevented me from doing so. I am now seeking guidance on how to proceed with filing a damage report and obtaining a new reference number without the need to travel back and forth to SLC, which is a 70-mile journey for me.

I am traveling with another passenger. I am seated in 32A, and he is in 34B, but I experience major flying anxiety. I was advised by a representative to arrive early at the airport, and they would try to switch our seats to prevent inconveniencing others. Even though we arrived five hours early, the check-in and gate agents were not helpful. The representative at FTL D2 was particularly unhelpful, telling us the seats were occupied. We politely asked for a two-seat switch since the passengers hadn't checked in yet, but he refused and spoke to us in a condescending manner. This experience has been frustrating, and despite my companion being a loyal Delta member, we were both disappointed with the service received. I have never encountered such treatment before and will rethink flying with Delta in the future.

I'd like to share my recent experience with the ticket agent. On Christmas Day, I encountered an unfortunate situation where I was provided with the wrong boarding pass, causing me to miss my flight. Despite the error being on their end, I was denied accommodation and had to spend the night on the floor at gate C21 in Minneapolis at the age of 63. The staff's treatment towards me was disrespectful and harsh, even though I understand it was a busy day. After the holidays, I attempted to contact the customer service line but was unable to speak to a representative, further adding to my frustration. To resolve this matter, I kindly request a round trip ticket from Kalispell, Mt to Kansas City, Mo valid for one year. This trip was originally planned to surprise my grandchildren on Christmas, which unfortunately didn't go as planned. I hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention.

Two days ago, I traveled from Lithuania to New York City's JFK airport with a layover in Ukraine, which caused an hour delay. Being a non-American citizen, I had to go through customs in the USA, and I was randomly selected for processing. Despite my flight to Norfolk, VA leaving 3.5 hours later, I was held up at the customs office for over an hour until 5 o'clock. As my connecting flight was from Laguardia airport, and due to the delay and customs processing, I realized I wouldn't make it in time to check in my extra luggage and clear security, resulting in missing the flight DL [redacted]. I booked a hotel and flew to Norfolk, VA the next morning. I attempted to contact Delta, but after being placed on hold for an extended period, I was disconnected. The flight delay and customs delay led to unexpected costs for the missed flight, hotel, and new booking, totaling around $[redacted]. I regret not seeking assistance from Delta representatives earlier and would appreciate any possible refund for the missed flight. Thank you for your attention, Goda Kavaliauskaite.

Our concern is about potential flight delays and missed connections due to Delta changing flight times from Tampa to Detroit, then Amsterdam, and finally Mumbai on May 18th, [redacted] (Confirmation numbers GX36XO and WQVCM6). Flight DL1969 from Tampa to Detroit was rescheduled from 6:45 p.m. to 7:10 p.m., causing a shorter layover for the connecting flight to Amsterdam, DL138, now departing at 10:37 p.m. instead of 10:45 p.m. This adjustment has reduced our layover time in Detroit to only 47 minutes, raising worries about missing the connecting flight and our luggage arriving on time. Our day is packed with our son's graduation from UF in Gainesville, necessitating a drive back to Tampa for the flight. Our trip to Pune, India, for his wedding cannot be disrupted. We seek assistance in transferring our local flight from Tampa to Detroit to ensure we do not miss the connection to Amsterdam. Thank you. Michael D.
