Enjoy the trip visiting my son ... First, I always fly first class.**Cheap O Air was the helper this time.*********.*Seattle WA to MDT Harrisburg, PA round trip* Nov *, **** Flights were with United and were fine. -Nov, **, **** were with Delta and were terrible from ground to flight to ground! *First the flight from Harrisburg to Detroit (flight ****) was * hours late for take-off. I was not too worried because I had a lay-over in Detroit of about *hours. **Got to Detroit and the contract worker, who was pushing my wheel chair rushed me through the airport and we arrive at the departure gate, just as the Delta attendant was starting to close the DOOR, he looked at me and the contract worker and turned to the door and closed it.**I yelled that I was in first class and our plane was * hours late and we had rushed to get here due to being told aircraft was being held for me. He just smirked and said, "the door is closed and can not be reopened! I was furious, as was the poor contract worker. Deltas gate attendant, just ignored us and began writing something. Turns out he was writing out my "NEW Ticket" for the next available flight. That flight was in an hour or so later.**That would have possibly worked so I could get my shuttle to the Whidbey Island Ferry and then home. However, the flight from Detroit to Seattle was "a couple hours late!!"**The Whidbey Island Shuttle and the Whidbey Island ferry stoped running before our late arrival into Sea-Tac!! After a couple more hours in the terminal and misinformation from the Delta Luggage supervisor, the other supervisor on duty, made out a voucher for a very cheap hotel in Kent, WA. After getting to the hotel at my expense with Uber, found out * other Delta guest were at the same fle-bag hotel and as with me, had to PAY there own hotel bill, due to another Delta error, not having a credit card posted with the account!!*I feel that the totality of errors, lying by employees and supervisors and down-right mean-spirited attitudes by them, should be resolved by issuing me a first Class round trip ticket to any domestic destination of my choosing, with open dates of my choosing also. Also a refund on the hotel I had to pay for ($**.** and the Urber cost of about $**.** and the cost of the Shuttle ticket I was unable to use $**.**).**I have flown Delta for many years and have never had such terrible service and even dishonesty from employees.**Please resolve quickly and let me keep some faith in Delta as a Company. I am accustomed to First Class service and pay for it.
