I am a sliver medallion member of Delta, which it has unfortunately become clear means next to nothing in their corporate structure. Our family of four flew to Charles DeGaul airport (Paris) via Atlanta from Los Angeles. All four checked bags failed to make the flight to Paris out of Atlanta. Two bags arrived after much ado three days after our arrival, but the other two are still floating about Europe, six days later, with no clear resolution in sight. After countless hours of discussion on the phone with both Air France and Delta, it has been suggested that both bags have made their way to Venice, where we plan to be for another ** hours. We have had to purchase everything, from clothing to toiletries to medications, which was certainly not a part of the original itinerary. It has crippled what was planned to be an amazing, once in a lifetime experience. We have found getting any assistance, particularly from Delta, next to impossible.
GetHuman-scottfga did not yet indicate what Delta should do to make this right.
