Canceling or changing a Flight without insurance usually results in a fee of around $200 to change the flight. If you have insurance be sure your insurance covers the reason you need to cancel or change your flight.
The issue in GetHuman-moritzb's own words
We flew from sfo to lax on Thursday, August *th with a connecting flight to Cabo San Lucas. The flight from sfo to lax (dl*** confirmation* gbu***) day on the tarmac in lax for an hour and we missed our connecting flight and had to stay in Los Angeles for the night. Since we had paid for an expensive, all-inclusive resort in Cabo we moved our plans and reservations around to stay an additional day. We made arrangements with the resort and delta was supposed to call or email us with our new flight itinerary from our original return flight on Wednesday, August **th (flight as*** and connecting to as***** confirmation* wxiyeq) to a new flight back on Thursday, august **th. We have not yet received an email or a call confirming our new itinerary. Please let us know at the earliest convenience so that we can notify our hotel and rental car agency of our new departure plans. Thank you for your time. Moritz drost
