Canceling or changing a Flight without insurance usually results in a fee of around $200 to change the flight. If you have insurance be sure your insurance covers the reason you need to cancel or change your flight.

To whom it may concern- *I am a loyal delta customer and after todays incident and phone call, I will not be using delta any more. I have * passengers flying from Nashville TN back to Newark NJ and our flight was cancelled due to weather (totally understandable things happen). We were already in the car service on the way to the airport and we received the text message. Now we had to book another night at the hotel and spend $*** more than what we expected to. I called to see if tomorrow we can be moved to a direct flight (we are re booked for a connecting flight from Nashville to North Carolina and then to Newark but have a * hour lay over which makes our total travel ** hours when in reality it is a * *** hour flight) and when I spoke to a supervisor I was SHOCKED. I am in customer service as well and I am a director of a company and to hear the supervisor I spoke to (after waiting for * hours to get through) that only people with children and disabilities will be accomendated I was in pure shock and disappointed that because I don’t have a disability or I don’t have children on the flight (I have * passengers who can not afford to miss work but now we have no choice) I was not worthy enough to even be offered tonight’s room to be paid for by a ** billion dollar company. Disgraceful, disrespectful and absolutely discriminating. If we need a disability to be accomendated my fianc* has ADHD , does that make the disability cut? Just thought you should know that once I land tomorrow I will never get on a delta plane again not due to natural things happening, but for the fact your supervisor in place is a pure embarrassment to your company. **Hopefully someone will make right and help us in some way shape or form and do the correct thing for * young travelers who are just trying to delveope a life in the working world. **Thank you**Best,*Melissa Carella **PS- Unfortunately I don’t recall the supervisors name but the call was made at *:**pm (CST) and the car service driver also said after hearing this conversation he will never fly with delta as well
