I visited a dental office for loose and broken teeth as well as a cleaning recently. During the consultation, I was advised to see a specialist, but none are available in Alaska. I've now booked a consultation in Seattle, WA, on October 14th. I signed a release form for my Alaska dentist to send my dental records to Clear Choice for the upcoming appointment. Despite my request, I was denied my X-rays to bring with me to Seattle. I'll need to fly there, likely for multiple trips for teeth repairs. I would like a copy of my X-rays to ensure Clear Choice can review them during my consultation. I've settled my bill with the dental office. I'm wondering if I have the right to obtain my X-rays under these circumstances. Ernesto F. L., Retired USMC

I am a retired military member and have been covered by dental insurance with Delta Dental - Tricare Retire since [redacted]. My wife, Delores Lou Martin, underwent a surgical procedure at Legacy Implants & Periodontics in Kaysville, UT on September 20, [redacted]. We paid our 50% share upfront, amounting to $2,[redacted].40, and now we are awaiting Delta Dental to cover the remaining 50%. Despite being covered by Delta Dental until the start of [redacted], they have not fulfilled their payment responsibility, leading to a finance charge on the overdue balance. I have been diligently paying my premiums from my Military Retirement Pay, making Delta Dental's failure to pay even more concerning. I demand immediate resolution of this matter, or I will involve my attorney. My contact information is William L. Martin, Jr., residing at [redacted] N. View Drive, Layton, UT 84[redacted]. You can reach me at [redacted]. For verification, my Social Security Number is [redacted]-52-[redacted].

I have attempted to call the number twice today regarding a claim. I was put on hold for 28 minutes and then for 22 minutes, listening to violin music. I hung up both times as no one answered. I went online to try to speak with a person, and I am on hold again with the same music. My monthly Benefeds charge is deducted, but Delta Dentist says my coverage wasn't in effect for services at the end of March, even though my account was charged on March 7th. I am frustrated and have been on hold for the last ten minutes with no assistance in sight. The service was on March 29th, and the claim was processed on April 4th. I have been on hold for a total of 17 minutes now on the third attempt today. Are there any live representatives available?

I recently received my Retiree Account Summary, noting a charge for Delta Dental which I did not enroll in and do not require. I attempted to contact them via the toll-free number provided, but the automated system requests my social security number, which it does not recognize, preventing me from speaking with a representative to cancel this service. How can I navigate past this automated system to address this issue with a live person?

I had a porcelain/ceramic crown with a two-surface post procedure done, with a claim filed by my dentist, Dr. R. Edward Daniel, DDS, on 05/05/[redacted]. The claim is still pending, with a remaining balance of $[redacted].00. The TRDP is the secondary payer, as I also have the Federal Employee Dental Program as the primary payer through Delta Dental of California. I work full-time for the Federal Government at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Service, with my FEDP premium deducted from my paycheck automatically. Additionally, I am a retired Colonel from the USAF since 05/01/[redacted], and my TRDP premiums are automatically deducted from my USAF retiree paycheck. I am inquiring about the status of the claim and if it can be covered by my TRDP. When can I expect a payment to be issued to my dental provider?
