Dear Delta Airlines, I am writing to request assistance regarding my recent flight experience. On April 7, [redacted], I had a flight to NY from Amsterdam with confirmation number GF2B8J. Unfortunately, the first flight to Amsterdam was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight to NY. Despite facing a long line at the transfer desk and not receiving sufficient assistance, a KLM attendant advised me to purchase a new ticket online for a cheap flight, assuring me that KLM would refund the cost later. I followed the instructions and booked the next available one-way flight on Aer Lingus for the following day as no KLM flights were left. Regrettably, I missed an important meeting scheduled for April 8 due to the delay, resulting in me receiving a different vaccine than planned. Upon my return through Amsterdam on April 17, I spoke to a transfer desk staff member, but she directed me to contact customer service online. Could you please process a refund for the EUR [redacted].94 ticket from Amsterdam to NY? I am willing to provide the ticket PDF if needed. I want to inform you that I will be traveling with the cremated remains of my father on Thursday from Amsterdam to Boston on Delta flight [redacted]. I have the necessary documentation, including his death certificate and confirmation from the Crematorium in Holland. Two of us had a trip planned from Michigan to Tampa with Delta from 4/2/22 to 4/23/22. Our confirmation number was GXAT3L. Despite paying a bit more for direct flights with suitable times, our flight was abruptly canceled just before boarding on April 2nd around 1 pm. Delta rebooked us for a flight to Laguardia at 7 am the following day, which was inconvenient for us. When we requested to cancel that flight, the Help Desk informed us to speak with a supervisor upon our return. We successfully retrieved our luggage within 4 hours and stayed at the Westin airport that night. We managed to secure another flight with the confirmation number HXDYOK before seats ran out. However, we were informed by another staff member at the help desk that they couldn't incorporate the new flight into the old booking due to the cancellation. We are seeking a refund for one ticket, approximately $[redacted] plus a $[redacted] baggage fee.

The flight was supposed to depart at 7:35 PM on April 24, [redacted], but actually departed at 12:30 AM on April 25, [redacted]. The flight was Delta, operated by AF [redacted]. We booked our trip with the Star Alliance group, flying KLM to JFK International Airport and returning with Delta. The original reservation was made through Air France. Our reservation code is TEQOGO, and the passengers included are Astrid B., Julien B., Valentin B., and Noémie B. We would appreciate a refund via bank wire as we do not plan to fly with Delta in the future. I have been working with Delta for two hours now with three different support persons. I originally scheduled a trip online from Sun Valley, Idaho to JFK on 3/27 but need to make changes due to my parents' health and my work schedule. My desired new itinerary is as follows: - 5/7: DL [redacted] from Twin Falls to SLC to DEN. - 5/14: DL [redacted] from DEN to Detroit to JFK. - 5/23: DL [redacted] from JFK to SLC, with a connection to Sun Valley. Claudia assisted in canceling my original tickets and providing an E-Credit. Kate helped book the first flight for 5/7 and Raisa assisted with booking the flight for 5/14. I have two case numbers submitted over 30 days ago and have yet to receive a response, which is disappointing for the level of service I expect. The case numbers are [redacted]4 and [redacted]0. During our time stranded at Fort Myers airport for 2 days without any form of compensation, we encountered multiple flight delays with explanations that did not suffice, unlike other flights to the same destination departing on time. Witnessing a nearby gate providing generous compensation to accommodate a passenger only added to our frustration. I have attempted to contact Delta for assistance, but the extended wait times are unacceptable. Our original flight confirmation number was HXNQNC, and I believe the original flight was [redacted], later changed to [redacted]. My spouse and I made a reservation for a flight from San Diego to La Crosse, WI under the name Mark Hopper. When mandatory masking for all passengers was implemented, due to our age and health conditions, our doctor advised against flying, especially with the new BA 4 and BA 5 virus variants spreading. We would like to cancel this flight and receive a refund on our fares since we no longer plan to travel. We reached out to Expedia initially, but they directed us to the airline. However, Delta informed us that Expedia sometimes provides incorrect information. Delta mentioned they only receive payment after the trip is completed, yet the charge appeared on our bank statement as a Delta transaction. I am lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Your website seems deceptive and not associated with Delta Airlines. I called seeking assistance with my missing flights on Delta, only to be charged $[redacted] for changes by someone pretending to be a Delta representative. Despite long holds and no resolution, I was billed for changes that were never made. Email notifications claimed flight changes that never actually occurred. It's clear now that you are taking advantage of people during vulnerable moments. Delta's genuine Customer Service has verified your fraudulent activities. Your actions are reprehensible and I fear further consequences like my credit card details being compromised. Your boasts of being a human-centric service are a sham. You are a deceitful organization, and I hope the BBB takes appropriate action against you.

I have a flight reservation for May 13, [redacted], on flight [redacted] from Greenville/Spartanburg Airport departing at 12:05 pm to Atlanta, then continuing to Toronto. I will be meeting my grandson in Atlanta and we plan to fly together to Toronto. With only 59 minutes between flights, I am worried about potentially missing my connection. I would like to add another person to my return flight, but they are asking for $[redacted] for the two additional tickets. My solo round-trip ticket was $[redacted], so I find this charge excessive. I requested that the customer service representative lower the price to match the $[redacted] I had spent on the four tickets so far, which seemed fair given the proximity to the flight date. Unfortunately, both the representative and her manager declined my request. When I inquired about available seats on the flight and learned there were some, I asked if there was any way to reduce the price by $[redacted] to accommodate my friend. The representative stated she couldn't assist with that and suggested calling their corporate number in the morning.

During my recent flight from Orange County (SNA) to Baltimore (BWI) on April 26, [redacted], my checked baggage with the tag number [redacted] was damaged. Upon arrival in Baltimore, I noticed that the pull-out handle (rolling stick) on my 25-inch American Tourister with 4 wheels was not working. Despite attempting to contact customer service multiple times, I was unsuccessful in reporting the damage. An agent advised me to file a complaint online, but as I don't have access to a computer and was using my phone, I couldn't proceed. Dear Support Team, On May 9th, [redacted], my wife, Petra B., (Skymile #: [redacted]) and I, Walter B., (Skymile #: [redacted]), were traveling with a first-class Delta One ticket from FRA to ATL and SRQ with Booking #: TDJEBW. When checking in at Frankfurt, we were informed by the counter staff that we had to pay $[redacted] for the 5th bag, despite the information I had checked on delta.com stating that as Gold Medallion members, each of us could have 3 free bags at 70 lbs each. I tried to explain our Medallion and American Express Platinum card status to the staff member, but we ended up paying to avoid any delay. On May 6, [redacted], I flew from ATL to ORD on Delta flight DL [redacted]. I checked in two bags - one was a pelican case secured with two TSA-approved cable locks valued at $9 each, while the second was a 3-ball bowling bag also locked with a cable lock. When I retrieved the pelican case at O'Hare airport, I noticed both locks were missing and there was a wire tie strap around it instead. Despite seeing the strap initially, it was evident only later that the locks were missing. I did not find a TSA card inside indicating the case had been opened. TSA confirmed they did not remove the locks and advised me to contact the airline for assistance. I am curious why the locks were removed from one bag but not the other, and would appreciate guidance on how to replace them.

Hello, my name is Victor D. I flew from NYC to Lisbon on May 22nd at 8:01 PM on flight reference AF3631. Then, I had another flight the next day from Lisbon to Brussels on May 23rd. Unfortunately, my suitcase did not arrive in Belgium; it may be stuck in Lisbon. I have misplaced my paper receipt, and as a result, I do not have my reference number to track my suitcase. Other airlines were unable to assist me in retrieving this number. They suggested that since it was your flight, you may be able to help if I provide you with my name and flight number. Having this reservation number would enable me to initiate a case to potentially locate my suitcase.
