The issue in GetHuman-rileynie's own words
My camera is having issues. The camera will only show light coming from light sources. If my computer ever goes to sleep my camera does not work nor does the facial recognition work when I sign in. Over time the facial recognition stops working all together.**I called in back in April and support worked on it. It did not fix the problem, it just got my computer back to functional status and I would walk around the problem by never letting my computer fall asleep.**I called in again today and support did the same things and tried installing and uninstalling drivers. Their last straw was going to be to do a master reset of my machine, but I declined as I have a lot of valuable school information and programs installed with valuable data as I am working on an online degree. I do not want to risk that. Plus this problem has existed from the first time I started the computer and I have my doubts that it will fix my issue. **I was then referred to software support who is saying I have to pay $*** or $*** to extend my warranty.**I am incredibly frustrated with this process. I have called several times and the problem still exists. The problem has been there from the first time I set up this computer. I have side stepped it, I have reported it. Now when a machine is still under warranty Dell wants me to pay at least $***? *This is wrong. I've been more than patient.*I would like to speak with someone who help me with my problem. I do not want a call center in India that will keep me on the line for an hour and a half. I want someone that can fix the issue. I have been through that process twice. I have been more than patient with both calls and my issue is not fixed. My machine is under warranty and I would like my problem fixed before it expires in * days.
