Just pick up my final dress, that was supposed to be done **********. ... Ok on ******** I took my grand daughter to David's Bridal Store in Columbia, my grand daughter found a dress ( High neck crystal bod bdc, D** ****P*****W, MBlush, size **) it was to be altered. I put it on lay away, paid **.**$ at that time. On ******** We went back to the store for alterations sizing, was there for approximately * hours and I paid ***.**$ for the alterations. On ******** I went back to store and paid ***.**$ on the lay away. Then on ******** I went back to the store to pick up and paid the dress off, they informed me at that time that the dress was not altered, i said ok i need the dress by Saturday morning, due to prom being on ******** @ *:**pm, that the dress should be done... Ok my dilemma is I have drove ** miles one way to get to the store, I drove * times, *** miles each time to get this dress altered and paid off for the day ******** to pick it up DONE!!!!! Well it wasn't done and I want something done about this dilemma. I have paid ***.**$ for dress, ***.**$ for alterations, and **.**$ for a garment bag, And have no dress for ******** Prom Sweet Springs ****. My phone number is **********, I would appreciate a call to let me know what is being done about this because I am not a person with alot of money and this has put a wrench into my pocket book and now I have to make another trip to the store to hopefully pick the dress up Saturday, if its done. Also they said they tried to call me and I did not receive any phone calls from them at any time to let me know that it was store policy that they do not do alterations until paid for, which at no time did they ever inform me of this until ********....* Thank you* Teresa Holt* Grand daughter is * Colleen Holt, in which. * the dress was put in. * her name.
The anxiety that caused
I want my money back, I made * trips to Columbia which is an hour there and an hour back, I ran **$of gas, and spent ***$on the dress, and during the purchase of the dress not one associate that helped me told me that alterations could not be done until the dress was paid for. So the day I am suppose to pick up the dress it was not done, no alterations had been done. period. So I feel that I should get my money back from Davids Bridal store for the associates, not doing their job like it should've been done and making me feel like a really ****** grand mother. Because I didn't have all the money at once to pay for it. But I am raising my grand daughters and no. I am not made of money.* Also the Manager did all of this in front of other customers waiting to be called to the the counter.
I talk about your store all the time, that's where I bought my wedding dress ** years ago and loved it, I talk about my dress all the time.
