I called several months ago after my access to Dish OnDemand stopped working. The error ** cannot connect to server was repeatedly encountered, yet my internet connection, ability to access Netflix, youtube, etc., through the dish was working fine.**After a long wait and attempts to work with CS and reset everything, I was finally transferred to a supervisor who told me this was a known issue and tech support was aware of the problem. I was told my account would be added to the list and I would be notified when the issue was resolved.**Its been MONTHS and I have not been contacted, it still DOES NOT work, and yet I'm paying for full service every month.**The problem needs to be resolved, or tell me it won't be so I can cancel and get DirectTV instead. I'd also like a credit for a portion of my bill for the months since I called for not having access to all the features as stated in my contract.
I was told it was a known issue that was being worked on, but it's been months and it's still not fixed.
Fix the issue so I can access features promised. Issue a credit for months of not having full access to the services I am being billed for.
I've had Dish service for seven years at my current address and for many years before that at my prior home in Seattle.
I spent about two hours on the phone with two different reps plugging and unplugging receiver, resetting my network info, etc., all to be finally transferred to a third person and be told they already know it's a problem. Talk about adding insult to injury* just tell me up front instead of wasting my time resetting things over and over again knowing it won't work.
